@@tchoopz1140 the story was super rushed, sloppy, and not nearly as good as 2018. But in Ragnarok, there are 3x as many characters, multiple plot points going on, and just more stuff in general. @@GUS-fc3jg Worse in almost every way? that's quite harsh, personally no, the dialogue seems better to me, there are phrases that are really worth listening to both in the base game and in the dlc, the music that was also much better in my taste, the one in the first one was not bad but For my taste it was insufficient, I wanted more, Ragnarok gives me that more, and even better with the DLC, the secondary missions, I think that in 2018 there are none of the magnitude of the crater, and in general they offer more unique moments, without forgetting develop their characters even more as already happened in the first but in this one they involve the entire group of Kratos, Atreus, Freya and Mimir, which for me has more merit, the Lore and how they complement it with what was seen in the first game , the bosses, the customization and the RPG system of the game, in 2018 it was noticeable that it was the first contact, but here it is much more customizable, allowing you to even change the appearance of your armor and its effects that are more noticeable, and it could continue as the development of the characters or something more subjective that was the story, which unlike the first Nordic game left me on the floor crying. Even though I had been spoiled.

No one is comparing anything to others. Both are great games and the reinvention of this franchise is one of the best things I have experienced as a gamer.
Omg DMC5 is my favorite game ever but the thing I hate more than myself is mfs who compare the two games. Yeah, sure, maybe comparing DMC to the Greek games would work, but definitely not for the Norse ones. Completely different styles of combat. It’s like comparing Cuphead to Hollow Knight.
Red dead redemption is a masterpiece, it should've won GOTY in 2018, Rdr2 took all the awards so GOW devs were crying so Rockstar made a deal with SMS and spare the GOTY award to them. GOW fans are so lame that they think they actually won GOTY in legit way, it makes me laugh lmaoo.
With that logic, Elden ring didn’t wing GOTY legit either. GoWR collected most of the other awards at the ceremony just like how RDR2 did. That’s not how the ceremony works. I’m sure once you vote a game for GOTY you can’t vote that game for the other awards, this stops games clearing all the awards. 😂

@@DonJuanitito who? Not me. When did i say anything about Rdr2?
If this isn’t a masterpiece what is
@@unique_package5370 GOW 3 is way more original and fits better the masterpiece title.
Its godlike
man please check your audio mix properly, the volume is way too low even at max volume from the player.
@7:15 I think you meant to say Faye, not Freya.
Hello there, Game Overload? What’s your favorite game of the year?
God of war ragnarok next??
Hello there! What are your thoughts on the horror film, It?
Just say god of war 4 because technically It is
As much as I love this game, RDR2 without a doubt was robbed for GoTY.
Hello there! What is your favorite game of the year so far?
this game does not beat RDR2, something fishy happened
13:27 There are consequences to saying the N word
Why? How do you know ? How do you know?
And then they completely ruined it with Ragnarok. Such a shame.
I still liked it.
So true. And somehow everyone still loved it. I genuinely cannot fathom how people thought that game was good.
Ragnarok was a very good game what are you talking about
@@GUS-fc3jgragnarok is a great game arguably better than 2018 what are you talking about
@@tchoopz1140 the story was super rushed, sloppy, and not nearly as good as 2018. Along that same vein, 2018 was built to match the story to the gameplay, the slow pace and no cut camera really helped to convey the relationship between kratos and atreus. But in Ragnarok, there are 3x as many characters, multiple plot points going on, and just more stuff in general. And the way the game is built just doesn't fit with the style of story Ragnarok is telling. It feels like it's piggybacking off of 2018 without realizing why 2018 worked so well. Ultimately, it's just a sloppy sequel that tried to fit way too much into one game and doesn't fit together cohesively like 2018.
5 hours 1300 views oof sorry man
A masterpiece for sure. But the fact this game took GOTY from RDR2 is a downright crime.
I disagree
i agree
GOW was just way more popular compared to RDR, unfortunately. It’s been around since 2005 so it’s gonna have one of the largest fanbases in gaming.
Both are deserving but I'd go with Red Dead 2 because it's just more massive
I disagree. Gameplay is obliviously a huge part of games and RDR2 gameplay doesn’t stack up as well, along with a few other thinge
2nd best game ever, only beaten by its sequel Ragnarök
Eh are we sure
@@Boss-cj6znFor me yes, the bosses improved a lot compared to this one, the only ones that were really memorable and fun (I emphasize the fun) for me were Baldur and Sigrun.
Nahhh Ragnarok was WAY worse than 2018 in nearly every way. The only places Ragnarok is better is in the enemy variety, new weapons, and I guess it has a longer (but much worse) story.
@@GUS-fc3jg Oh sure, and Ragnarok has a free DLC and it's not exactly bad.
I get triggered everytime I hear rdr2 didn't win goty
Most overrated game I've ever played..god of war is better..
Hell 2 is better...
ha. ha. ha.
🫡👊🏿
That game sucks
Boring game. Draggging. Lack of gameplay variation. No puzzles. Automatic platforms. Totallydisappointing after the amazing 1-2-3 ORIGINAL GOW. This is absolute trash.
Did you even played the game?
Todos los fanboys de Xbox se aparecieron cmo sabandijas , mejor que starfail llora pilero
@@zTN52he's a fanboy of the other console you can tell by the way he describes the game
Don´t you dare to compare TLOU1 to GOW, it´s not the same, not even close, great stories in their own way. That piece of dog sh$$% from TLOU2 doesn´t even exist. God of War 2018 was an incredible challenging game with great combat, lore, side quests and boss fights worthy to be remembered.
Chill?
@@Exo-riah no!!
Gow 2018 is a shit action game when compared to dmc5
No one is comparing anything to others. Both are great games and the reinvention of this franchise is one of the best things I have experienced as a gamer.
Brother u can keep your opinion let me keep mine @@saivivekm.v2411
Omg DMC5 is my favorite game ever but the thing I hate more than myself is mfs who compare the two games. Yeah, sure, maybe comparing DMC to the Greek games would work, but definitely not for the Norse ones. Completely different styles of combat. It’s like comparing Cuphead to Hollow Knight.
DMC 5 might be more of a fun power trip (way better optimized too) but GOW is a better game
GOW2018 is so clear of DMC5 😂😂
