started my first playtrough 2 weeks ago. Got the game for christmas in 2018 and my dumbass got bored during the first chapter so i left it. This time i decided to just start over and see what i was getting into. I cried, laughed and got super invested into the storyline and especially arthur. I played rdr1 back when it was new and was fiening for more about his backstory and rdr2 delivered ! 11/10 game, had never cried over a game before and this had me in shambles since his goodbye towards Tilly and Jack

I want hardcore/health: weak mode. It takes WAY too many shots to kill someone. The only place thats an option is single player offline mode which is fine, but its only on custom arcade instead of playable missions. Its frustrating. If it was set that way, it would be the only game i play.

This video is pretty much every stale Reddit take as to why the game is "bad" put together, and most of the reasons come down to "I didn't imagine the game like this is my head before it came out" and a poor understanding of the story. Boring, but I guess you'll get those hater clicks. Should have thrown "woke" & "DEI" in there and you'd have a million views by now.

When the game came out there was talk about it being woke. After finishing the game, I don’t know what all the fuzz was about. I guess I missed something?

As much as they wanted us to like Abby. By the end they actively made her a worst person than Ellie and I hated her worse at the end of the game than right after she killed Joel. Also I believe Tommy would leave Ellie behind to go find Abby. But Tommy’s wife would not have just let Ellie go after Tommy. So if Tommy leaves Ellie behind to protect her. Why would he come back a second time and shame her into going to find Abby. After Ellie, Dina, the unborn baby, Tommy, almost died. Which would have made Joel’s death for nothing. And that other guy did die. They forced Tommy to come back a second time for plot reasons.

im waiting for the sequel to come out on pc before playing it (not buying a whole ps5 just for one game) so im using this comparison video to hype myself up hearing aspects of the first game being called stale in comparison makes me excited to be mind blown by the next game

I got to a point in the game where every scene with Dutch was “I have a plan” and “one more heist” and was getting really frustrated with what I thought was redundant writing. But then I realized that’s the whole point. You’re supposed to feel Arthur’s frustration with Dutch as he and the audience realizes it becomes evidentially clear there’s no “plan,” Dutch is loosing his grip and making it up as he goes along.

A game of thrones game with the shadow of war nemesis system would be cool and you keep respawning because the lord of light wont let you die

Just got this on sale 40 bucks with the season pass, the game fucks. I wouldn’t buy it at full price but on sale It’s definitely worth playing they also added full coop

This game just gave a vibe i have not felt while gaming in so long. The music and just the overall feeling of it was perfect. The sequel was amazing, but for me it did not hit the feeling I had when I played the first one. It was perfect.

Hoping GTA 6 will have this level of detail, but I understand its far more possible in RDR2's setting compared to a large city

Oh yes, it holds up and in my opinion, the best of the 3.

When I first played it, I played it because I loved Harry Potter. It was like a deam come true. I could stop playing. When I played it a second time, I played it only because of Sebastions Quest line (I love the soundtrack a the last quest, "You made your choice" is such a good OST) and my beloved Ominis.

I just hope that Dice is not totally brain-drained of the last vestiges of their talent before a hopeful Battlefront 3 release.

The more or less boils down to “there are contrivances in the Ellie plot and I’m ok with them…. There are contrivances in the Abby plot and I’m not ok with them” 🤷‍♂️.

I loved when you are made to play as abby whilst Ellie is "the boss" Its when i had the moment of realisation that Ellie could be the bad guy. Or that this world has no good/bad guys
