I was curious about that flapper valve too as I had never seen one. Apparently it is designed to reduce sound at idle by deflecting the exhaust note. I also read that it warms the engine up quicker. Cheers Billy!
Just a heads up Billy, a friend of mine has just spent a couple of weekends stripping and repainting the rear subframe and swing arm on his BMW due to poor factory finish peeling/flaking. The bike is 3 years old!. Keep your eye on it. 👍
Havent heard so many dad sounds in a garage since l change my brakes on the tiger the other day.. 🤣🤣. Those Acrapovic are incane expensive...waay out of my league.
5/16ths? Possibly better using an 8mm, as I don't think they use the imperial system in Bavaria! Still makes me chuckle when anyone uses a King Dick spanner though.
