Could you please tell me, is there any info on the temperature that the seeds will germinate at best? If not a temp range, is there a note on cold/hot? I guess I was expecting an "ideal temp" column. (I see in the video mention of whether a heat mat is needed... but I am a new gardener and I need all the help I can get. I am afraid I will get them too hot in the greenhouse or too cold. )

You’ve lived in a “greenhouse” or glass house where others can view and critique. But just like the seeds you plant, you and Kevin have broken thru the shell, the “dirt”, and with the grace of Gods provision and blessing, have grown and thrive. You guys have been such an inspiration. I started my journey toward "independent living" a year ago with a few rabbits. Today I have 29, so yes, Rabbit math is a real thing! :) Yesterday I started 360 seeds in the greenhouse & have a lot more to start over the next few weeks. I am getting bees in the spring and also getting chickens! So far everything is great, I just have not been able to bring myself to do the butchering of the rabbits. I am sure I will get there eventually, but thankfully my vet and I have worked out a deal where she will butcher for me and I give her rabbit meat as a trade. I am also so blessed to have good friends who have goats and chickens. I have been taking care of the goats by milking, feeding, and breeding them. And I get all the eggs I want. Loving that right now!!! They also have a Harvest Right freeze drier that I get to use whenever I want. SO GOOD TO BE AROUND GREAT LIKE MINDED PEOPLE. God has truly blessed me.

The key I think is to harvest the rabbits at the earliest time, so you don't grow attached. My biggest mistake was keeping them until I knew them even in butchered form. I have a country gentleman who will butcher in trade for the deed. I have 16 hens and so many eggs! I love my girlies, as soon as I can build a separate pen, I will try my hand at meat chickens. Best wishes!

Ive had good luck and bad luck with seeds for herbs too. Like sage sprouts and grows but doesn't seem to live long for me(michigan) and I've bought thyme plants that wouldn't live through the winter but thyme I've grown from seed thrives over winter.
Parsley is hit or miss for me too.
But lemon balm is fighting with the mints (peppermint and spearmint) on who the queen of the yard is. I just bought a mandarin orange lemon balm seed. It sounds really yummy so I hope its as easy to grow as my lemon balm.
Cilantro is a horrible grower for me. It often runs directly to seed but the green seed pods crushed are wonderful in salsas.
I also have issues with dill too. But if it self seeds it becomes a monster in the garden lol

Now that you are definitely more situated for ever more, do consider container sowing some herb type plants you can nuture over this upcoming winter in the greenhouse if needed, then plant for naturalizing in the right spaces about your new farm. On and off over the years I've used veggies, food bearing perennials, food annuals, and self seeding food/ herb annuals more so ornamentally than for food production; if you get some food too, its a bonus. These plants add texture, color, and flowers to the garden or landscape. If you're not stressed for yield nor often good looks, they are pretty hardy as a plant all and all. Many are also super for pollinators.

Just bought your cheat sheet its awesome. Wish it had the temperatures range each seed type germinates at. I live in Texas so after April there's no need for heat mats but say I want to germinate a seed that only germinates at 60 degrees (F) I would need to wait until winter to try to germinate them. Would be handy to have the temperatures as well. I'll add them, just thought on future updates maybe you would consider adding the temp ranges. Thanks for all your hard work on the cheat sheet it is amazing as is. So grateful to have it.

Sarah,I'm using the tablet that belongs to my wife but comments following are from the old man soon to be 80. Regardless of whether you wear glasses or not, or what type of shirt you are one of the lovliest, most informational, best instructors on You Tube. Your Channel is always my first to check. You and Kevin are the best.

Glad to see you using soil as starting medium.
I did an experiment last season staring in soil v peat pellets.
Root development in soil started seedlings is superior to peat pellets!
    Thanks for sharing!
