Now get some higher revving cams because stock 2v cams suck balls and fall on there face at 5k which takes away all the fun

You gained a new sub from this video brother. I've been watching the progress of this build since you bought it, but I've been trying to watch subbing to a bunch of channels. However, even though I am an import guy, I love oddball builds like these and I love watching pull videos. That 2V makes some good power and pulls hard for only being tuned on a few pounds of bewst!

Hell yeah man, since u got this car i been wanting a 2v or old fox to throw a cheap turbo or something like that to get into the spooly life, i have a supercharged 14 gt but wanna try something diffrent too lol

Damn my trans going into 3rd does the exact same thing. From my understanding it's the synchronizer from the previous owner missing 3rd while banging gears

Nicely done!! Can't wait to see the Dyno numbers and seeing how much boost you can throw at it. After the trans gets fixed and more boost, off to the track for some numbers, LOL 😃. Hopefully she doesn't break too. Also can't wait to see the new axles in the Cobra and hitting the dragstrip again, low to mid 10's baby!!

Ya those 2 valves will take some boost turn it up but first ur going to have to do something with ur trans
Pretty obvious your third gear synchro is toast which TR-3650's are notorious for breaking...but the shifting in general sounds completely strange. That huge slam sound when you pop the clutch back out after the shift doesn't sounds very abnormal.
Great video as always I love the 2 new new edge stangs in the stable I am going to miss turdzilla thow I'm glad ur doing a turbo build have u ever been on Andrew lavenders channel u should check it out he built a turbo 2 valve .030 over block all forged internals factory 2v heads stage 3 porting boost cams he set the whole car up rite last season ran mid to high 8s in the 1320 check it out his channel is a Andrew lavender

I can't really see this guy installing a turbo kit, but I'm sure he would've found someone that's for certain but secondly that turbo kit is hard to find being a 95% bolt on setup but turd stang think had a healthier motor I agree.

What’s been done to the fuel system bro? I’ve got injectors and now just upgraded the fuel pump but still reading up into the 30s on the air fuel gauge

I was contemplating on the same system but heard on3 systems have issues with the install is why I have been hesitant to pull the trigger, considering a Vortech V3si system. Give me some insight of how the system was to install and street driveability, thanks so much
Install requires a tubular kmember. It’s not all that complicated. There is no problems street driving

Just need to replace 3rd gear sinck row then it will be like new transmission
But make sure you replace the axles and drive shaft before you go to the track

@08:00 something is loose in the drive train, I'd advice to check your trans/motor mounts and the pushing on the lower control arms

yes 10 psi should be the sweet spot

No. This car has a stock 4.6L 2V which has a limit of around 450rwhp
anyoone else notice it only makes like 2 or 3 pounds on the boost gauge?
Boost gauge is garbage. Only read 15 psi on my Cobra which was confirmed at 19 PSI
I’ve had a 2V for 10 years and to this day, I can’t stand how turbos make a 2V exhaust sound. All I hear is a uhaul box truck.

@@nickp.7156 when he floors it even though we can tell from the spooling up of the turbo that the ecu is already in acceleration enrichment it takes a bit for the aem to show 11 afr. Then when he lets go afr plummits to 17 and then goes out of range. That heppens also during cruise. Is this how aem responds or is there an exhaust leak or turbulence issue?
I have no experience with Aem, for innovate with this gauge behaviour you start looking into things.

All I can think is the upper rad hose is laying on the turbo! Turbos get really hot! Need to address upper radiator hose location
I'm shooting for the 400hp range in my Bullitt, that is my preferred hp range for it. I was thinking about going with a ProCharger. An your 3rd is just like mine lol. It will go into 3rd but it doesn't like it none, do you go from 2nd to 4th when driving it easy? Great video man an I seen the S550 in the background at the start of the video.

It was time to move on. Just lost interest in it. I was ready to store the car away and keep going on the Bullitt but then the deal came around for the yellow 01 Cobra.
