More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.
ie. An increasingly isolated and unaware Vladimir 'Presitator' Putin.

So Juzzie, I'm a very mature female whom doesn't particularly love technology (and don't walk around my environment just in case someone needs me 😂), but EVEN I charging mobiles, in public areas, has been available since 2012. Prior to that, it was available, but not so familiar as is expected by TODAY'S standards 😅. Russia seems to have missed the boat somewhere 😊. What an embarrassment 😳.

True, however his nation grows ever more weary of it all. Even the most totalitarian of states can't maintain a bad war forever before a tired and fed up public becomes problematic.
I wouldn't say Russia is close to a 'breaking point' or revolution. The Kremlin's complete control of the media, and brutal enforcement against protest, makes such things unlikely in the near term. You have a complete populace under the effects of learned helplessness.
However, no one is Russia is happy about this war. (Outside a few oddballs - there is always a few oddballs.) Kremlin propaganda is becoming a much harder sell when people get first had accounts from loved ones on the front. And their neighbors get second hand accounts from them.
The dissatisfaction of the masses has already hurt Putin in many subtle ways, and some not so subtle ways. These problems will get worse the longer it goes.

I heard that there continues to be social unrest in central russia. in 25 years putin did nothing for russia. putin did more harm to russia than any human being since Stalin. russia global position is not one tenth of what it would have been had russia maintained democracy in partnership with Europe - as opposed to taking the path of putin's dictatorship. that is the opportunity cost of the putin dictatorship. now russia is closer to North Korea than to any country in Europe. And Ukraine is now a player in Europe, one of the largest countries in Europe.
The only collaboration moscow wanted is access to spying on its western neighbours.
Becoming like North Korea, except in NK not even Kim is so insane as to hurl a million men into a trap where some 40% forfeit their lives for the vain glory of the dictator.
it certainly seems that Russians are engaged in a race to the bottom of contemporary human existence. Out evolved by those of their species that engage in more civilized approaches. A Dead End for Russia, literally. It isn't about beliefs now, it is about dignity and one party's lack of it.
