Oh my goodness, I remember this stitch. I made The Lace Star Flower Stitch into a summer scarf from • #HopefulTurns • tutorial on TH-cam about 3 years ago.
It is truly a very beautiful stitch! Thank you for teaching us, Juan. I may have to splurge and get a Nelsonwood hook. It's gorgeous!

Iam going to make this and give it to the cancer hospital
Juan 💜 this is gorgeous 🥰 thank you simply soft?
Thank you! 🙏 I used Ice Picasso with this :)
@@JuanTheYarnAddict crap Juan I was asking is this yarn better than simply soft sorry
Hi Juan, my question is, can you do this stitch in a round? Thanks
You lost me at “now let’s get started” 😂
I’m curious why you hook the yarn over to top when you start a stitch but under the yarn as you work the rest of the stitch. I’m self taught and every “how to” always showed the hook going under the yarn. I’ve seen foreign videos that do the same or always hook over the yarn. I’ve never seen an explanation why. When I try this I noticed the first loop is tight and the legs sort of cross. Any explanation? I taught myself over 50 years ago.
The video is flipped. I’m a left hand crocheter and so to accommodate the right handed crocheters, I flip the image.
@@JuanTheYarnAddict I guess my question wasn’t clear because flipping the video wouldn’t change where the hook is going related to the yarn. Maybe there isn’t an answer and that’s just the way you learned. Oh well keep on hooking and thanks for the videos I think I’ll try this stitch.
That yarn is pretty but hairy. Lol😊
Agreed lol
