Broken Group Islands Cruise 2023 Aboard MacGregor 26X KENSEA

Our 10-day visit to the Broken Group Islands on the West Coast of Vancouver Island aboard our Macgregor 26X: KENSEA.
This was both the first long cruise since repowering to a Mercury ProXS 115 and the cruise with the most sailing we've ever done... plus our first time on the open Pacific Ocean.

Wow this trip reminds me of when I took my MacGregor 26S on the ferry from Vancouver to Sprout Lake, Vancouver Island. The trip was very similar with seeing a bear and bald eagles, but only on fresh water. The MacGregor is now on Lake St Claire close to Detroit. LOL

I believe we're heading back to Desolation Sound this year (2024). Desolation has the advantage of freshwater lakes at many key anchorages.
