They first approached me when I was sitting outside enjoying a good cigar & kept doing this ever since that day. The Persian one even likes to climb up to my shoulder & rubs against my head. Now I got 2 mini tigers as smoking buddies. 🤣

A stray cat did this to me yesterday. She is a mom of 3 kittens and came to live on the rooftop of my home few weeks ago. I tried to approach her at first but she used to run away. There's another reason why they may rub you. My cat HATES my slippers. But before he attacks them, he rubs against them. Then he lies beside them with his paws laying over them. If I move, he engages his claws and hisses. The more I move my slippers the more aggressive he becomes. He has even attacked my legs as well. I do know why he does it. When he was a young kitten we took him on a 9 day car ride. My shoes reminds him of the time he was stuck around my feet.

When I'm lying on the couch looking at my phone, my little furry friend Bella will join me and start that rubbing off me thing and then lie down beside me but if I am trying to finish a text message or FB post etc, she will actually head butt the phone in my hand so that I'll put it down to pet her lol. Its impossible to not love her though. She comes around you in such a cute way that you just have to stop whatever you're doing and talk to her.

They're low maintenance giants and smell strong as they don't wash often but they're easy to train and feed you.

Ok this helped me because, I pet a stray cat with a deformed face, they seemed to trust me (I'm not fully sure) and when I put the cat on my lap and put them down, they tried to climb back, but I had to put them down because, my parents don't hate cats, but only don't like stray cats, I felt really bad for them, because it seems like they have never felt love, because they seem to like me, they slept by my legs, they would try to make me pet them, and when I put them on my lap, they slept on it, rather than try to get down, but I had to put down kitty because, my dad would kill me if he saw a stray cat on my lap, when I left the chair, the kitty sat on the chair, I'm not sure if it's because they want to, or if because, that was where we first met, but when someone took kitty away from the chair, they ran back to it, if anyone is a cat expert, please explain to me if these behaviour is normal, Edit: Sadly I couldn't take kitty, because I already have a pet bird, and I struggle with them, so how the hell to you think I could take care of a cat?!

My cousin's kitten next door rubs my legs from time to time. I never fed that kitty, but for some reason, she loves to rub on my legs
It's great to know, I am very good friends with my neighbors cat! And they rub against my torso alot :D

A stray cat came my home and my family decided to raise but the thing is everyone are afraid of holding him or getting closer to him however they love them. I want to know how to not be afraid of a kitten who is old 4 weeks.
I don't know how to raise him and I can't understand why he's screaming. I feel miserable that I can't help him. But I like him so much that I am afraid of him too. I hope if some one can help me with what kind of food should I feed him? How to groom him? And everything that a kitten owner should know, can someone please share it with me?

I was sitting on the ground watching this video and my cat was chilling in the living room. Suddenly I hear her go like "MRRREEMEOW!" running towards me before aggressively rubbing her head against my crossed legs :DD
My kittens were alseep and i was just sitting there and they woke up and randomly started climbing all over me
Well, it pisses me off, and even more so now that I know they are doing it to mark me. At first it was cute but now it's just plain annoying , as soon as I open the door constant meowing and rubbing against my leg and the damn cat is not even mine.

Ok this helped me because, I pet a stray cat with a deformed face, they seemed to trust me (I'm not fully sure) and when I put the cat on my lap and put them down, they tried to climb back, but I had to put them down because, my parents don't hate cats, but only don't like stray cats, I felt really bad for them, because it seems like they have never felt love, because they seem to like me, they slept by my legs, they would try to make me pet them, and when I put them on my lap, they slept on it, rather than try to get down, but I had to put down kitty because, my dad would kill me if he saw a stray cat on my lap, when I left the chair, the kitty sat on the chair, I'm not sure if it's because they want to, or if because, that was where we first met, but when someone took kitty away from the chair, they ran back to it, if anyone is a cat expert, please explain to me if these behaviour is normal,

Sadly I couldn't take kitty, because I already have a pet bird, and I struggle with them, so how the hell to you think I could take care of a cat?!
How about an n-depth study on animal eye to eye phenomena. I'm often amazed by the way they make eye to eye contact with who or whatever they're trying to communicate with, similar to how we humans do by making eye to eye contact when trying to confirm and establish communication. There was a stray cat that rubs her body against me and when another cat tries to approach me she immediately scratched it telling the other cat not to go near me and then she continues to rub herself to me.
a stray cat does this to me at work. every time he sees me from far away he runs towards me and rubs against me. he wont leave my side
I'm scared of cats but today, A stray came to me today and started doing this to me. I thought he was hungry and gave him some milk and food and expected him to go on his way. It became more and he started nibbling my toes. I got scared and maintained my distance. My leg and my hand started itching. And i went in. He peed on my wall and went away. I don't even know what i did wrong.
peeing is a way a cat marks its territory.
My feral cats at my work place rubs her body and head against me when I feed her.... When she rubs that's when I can pet her ... Otherwise she will never ever let me pet her when she's not rubbing against me..
But it took the feral cat over two years to get used to me... Usually fetal cats never ever rub against humans
The cat is marking you as THEIR! human, a warning to other cats to stay away. How typically territorial. Cats will be cats, lol
