If you don't mind me asking. Roughly how much would you spend a month traveling like this? I plan on going across the US coast to coast and was wondering how much I should save up before heading out. Thanks and stay safe!
The travels cheap, most expensive part is taking time off and bills back home and having a emergancy fund. Lodging is free if you find free campsites. Freecampsites.net is a great resources. Food varies, but id say i average 20 dollars a day or less. Gas for me is 60mile per gallon. I do about 300 miles a day. So fuel cost is about 10-15 dollars a day. Maintenance stuff along the way shouldnt cost much maybe 50 dollars (oil for 1 change, chain lube, paper towels, kerosene for cleaning). Expected costs will be low, but as far as saving i suggest you have 1500 dollars saved for emergancy. This could pay for repair or shipping a broken bike the rest of the way and a plane ticket for you just incase of worst case scenario.
Could your bike have stopped from vapor lock? I live in southern ut and the the heat gets so bad I have to open my gas cap before my bike will start. Epically on a full tank. Great video, glad you were able to see utah.
That's what I was thinking. Only other angle i could imagine was reg/rectifier got too hot and started acting up, but the vapor lock seems most likely. Lol not used to issues related to heat being from minnesota
“Is the gas really FREE here???” 😂🤣 Super enjoying your vlogs and camping. Thank you for sharing.
COOL video thanks bro ride safe 👌🙌😊
Same thing happened to my 09 ninja in Salt Lake City when it was hot out. Took it to dealer a day later and they couldn't find anything wrong.
I think it was a vacuum effect with the fuel tank, just had to open and close the tank to correct. Guess ninjas need bigger vent hoses

Suppose for a monthly estimate, about 1200 dollars for 1 month of travel 300ish miles a day
Ok awesome that's about how much I came up with too. Thank you!
Have you found a way to keep your mic and go pro mic adapter from getting ruined in the rain? Any suggestions on how I can protect mine?
Uhu tac putty around the plug and hole in the case.
TwinCitiesRider like a poster putty?
@@shielasimpleton7346 Yes, if rain is coming I just put some over the opening and pull it off when It's done.
TwinCitiesRider Very interesting. Thanks for the tip!
