Its takes so much patience and skill to defeat this sort of build as a zerg. Im just not there yet and I think after losing all my shit a few times to the tanks I would have tapped out. despite having the entire map. Your experience is what gives you the advantage here and this is nice to see!

Damn, I wish I saw this vid when I was actively playing zerg couple of weeks ago. Too bad I cannot put 10 likes to this video. Thanks so much. Fighting against mech is so frustrating. Swarmhosts usually give you an impression of doing absolutely nothing. Which is incorrect. Would love to see some examples of BC mech, when terran is trying to have 3-4 BC all the time and gradually snowball them. Because it is forcing you to have 12-20 absolutely useless corruptors all the time, and BC can get crazy valuable trades by yamatoing and blinking out. like they maybe lose 1 BC and you lose 8 corruptors
Had this same matchup, same map.. except I can't micro all those dif units and the Terran was able to get press F2 and attack

I like muta ling bane in this map(at least in my level diamond 1.5)
I like to keep the pressure for the first 4-6 minutes with ravager ling then transition to mutas because they might die if they prioritize gas too much.

Emphasis on patience. I will get annoyed and just throw away army after army just trying to make something happen. When you are patient and wait for an opportunity, you can decisively defeat their whole army and win the game before they can rebuild.
Ultra brood air defense hydra Mass base u gotta take out the main centre and depots edge hard with mutas
I combine lurker viper and corruptor in the late game against mech and usually works great
Abduct can help me take out thors or tanks one by one and seeing them immediately explode the moment they touch the lurker field is just so satisfying
I find that hard to pull off, where the Thor's easily snipe the vipers

Did something change with the latest patch? Now vipers are even more vulnerable. And I believe thors anti air range in high impact payload mode exceeds abduct range by at least 1. not to mention turrets.

Does armor upgrade matter vs mech? I usually upgrade range and melee attack when running 2 chambers
Plat1 here, love meeting turtle mech, my win rate is about 85%, unless y do something stupid, is a secure win.
If you were approaching this with roach/hydra/viper (like you mention at 22:30) how many vipers would you suggest making? There are so many tanks - would you make like, 8?
2-4 is good enough. Go back a bit and consume if you run out of energy
It's hard to make viper work in this map honestly, unless you're a GM or some magician. Turrets/thors can kill your vipers and you need to waste your energy on blinding clouds which is useless because tanks can wipe out roaches/hydras before you can even attack.
What you can do is spread creep on the top of your lungs. Make changelings. And watch them take a base. Then you engage your roach/hydra vipers. Does not really matter how many vipers you have. It's the decision to go forward or retreat when the tanks started to siege.

so... all i need to do is develop all my tech tree entirely, and switch between all units like 10 times. Just to kill tanks...

Doesn't turtle mech usually transition into mass ghost? BL Infestor is not a playable comp against ghosts, and I feel this particular game's complete lack of ghosts is an outlier for mech
I think Neuro did an excellent job of choking terran. Did you see terran's gas? It's not really possible to rebuild tanks and thors and build ghost at the same time. If not the hidden base, game would have been ended like 10 minutes earlier. You also need an infrastructure to make ghost transition happen. like 3-4 racks with tech labs and ghost academy (some more gaz on top of ghost cost gaz). it works only if you're super passive too and let terran grab all bases for free
God damn mechs and their metal parts and big boomy boom guns! Ain’t nobody got time to play a 30 minute game of mining 4 more bases than a passive Terran and still losing

See, this is why you haven't leveled up. You are too specific. You are like a robot that only does well when they encounter a situation that they know. But you suck when you both have to deal with a fire hose that got away. Meaning, when shit goes crazy, you can't play. And that is what being a top player is. You are on the forefront of tech play and evolution.
You have no idea how to deal with sc2. All you know is "the scripted shit." And any bot can learn that.

Oh wow, look at you, taking advantage of the base meta. You're so good man. I only called this advantage out like 40 years ago. Zerg have an advantage when it comes to uncontested bases, which your greedy style allows and calls for. But this is also why you generally lose as you climb because they tend to not allow you to max workers before you get hit, hard. Noobs let you get away with murder and that is the only games I see you win.

I promise you tho, with my guidance and leadership, you would become your WoW character as far as status goes but in sc2. WoW is a joke to ever try to feed your ego on. Any idiot can do well as a main tank in a guild built around fanboys. Try sc2 where each of your fans try to rip you apart.
And this is from a top player in sc2 and the top player in psas and a high level player in SF and other sorts of fighting game.
