Is your instrument the Gretsch 9121 Acoustic Electric Tenor? How does it sound in just the acoustic mode? Does it still have good volume and response both on the bass and treble?

I would say that the sound is much brighter than one would expect a tenor to produce. Gretsch ukuleles have very thick necks like guitar necks. If you don't mind having a thicker neck, I think you would be happy with the instrument. It is really pretty and it has kept its action very well. To be perfectly honest, I don't play it anymore because I've been playing Sun Stars, and I've been loving them. They are a very small company and they're local to me. I'll link a couple of unboxing videos so that you can hear what a Sun Star sounds like :). Please let me know if you have any more questions and I hope it helps. I've been using a Metronome since I've saw your video the other day, which is helping with my playing and this triple it is great! I found this easy to do with the metronome saying the words Triple, triple it, triple it. Thank you so much!

There is a lot of math in music. If you don't count and just "feel" the music, you lose precision or the ability to play with others in a precise way. You need both counting and feeling. Some people have no idea how to swing the beat because they were just told to "Feel it". Adding the technical aspect of it helps a lot of people put the beat into categories into their minds to understand it more clearly.

It sure is. If you're a trained musician, you use it and see them all of the time. If you only read tabs, you probably won't see it very often 😀.
