    • @AaronSioco
      @AaronSioco  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I took my Citizenship test on March 10, 2022 and we were all given a time frame on when we are able to write the Citizenship test online, and it was between February 28, 2022 and March 20, 2022. We all had to write the exam individually and one of my family members actually failed as they scored 14/20 and the passing was 15/20 so I believe the whole Canadian Citizenship Oath Taking took longer because they had to write the Citizenship test all over again and we all had to wait until they got their results. Then we received an email on September 27, 2022 and it was the invitation for the Canadian Citizenship Virtual Oath Taking on October 26, 2022. I hope this helps! Have a great day!

      May I ask you why your family member failed on the citizenship test? Is it because it was hard or he/she didn't prepared for it at all? Or there any other reason? Thanks 😊

      @Soul Alex
      Thank you so much! I apologize to get back to you this late. I personally did not find it hard at all to write the exam. For me, when I was writing the Canadian Citizenship Test, I was hesitant on some questions but that’s normal, because I tend to overthink but I suggest you not to overthink and just answer based on what they are asking you. 😊 All the answers are in the Study Guide Discover Canada. Give yourself not just a day to study the whole Guide, I understand that we all have different situations like work etc. 😊 Also yes the reason why one of my family members failed is because they only studied the day before writing the Canadian Citizenship Test. 😆 But try to make some time to study for your test because you might panic when you study the day before. You got this okay! Just believe in yourself that you will pass and you will!! 😊

      Hi there, I did not pay any fees for Zoom. I only have a free account. During the whole ceremony which lasted for more than 40 minutes it did not stop the video call or anything like that. But I found an article for you about Zoom. So basically they are saying that if the host (this is not you) is not using a free plan, the video call would end at exactly 40 minutes but I doubt that they own a free plan, so you should be good to go with not paying anything. Good luck on your Ceremony and Congratulations! 🎉😊 support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/202460676-Time-limits-for-Zoom-Meetings

I would suggest checking the website for your application process if there’s any updates and it usually says you passed the test but It might take them maybe 2-4 weeks until they change it to passed or more. After signing the “OATH OR AFFIRMATION OF CITIZENSHIP” you can either sign it by hand then take a picture or send it to them electronically using Adobe Reader which you can download online for free.
      Also at the very end of the ceremony they will show you what kind of format they want you to put on the heading when you’re sending the email it’s different for everyone, make sure to take a picture so you know exactly what to put under the heading because it is very important. Once you’ve double and triple checked everything, you will need to send it to:
      cic-calgary-citizenship@cic.gc.ca
      (Yes it is the same as the third page and the last page it is the highlighted part)
      I’m not sure where you are based, if it was different in each state but the email above is where I sent my mine and my family’s “OATH OR AFFIRMATION OF CITIZENSHIP” as we are based in Calgary. Congratulations in advance and have a good day!
