I stopped on this recope because you have the word "chewy" in the title and boy oh boy am i happy i did.. This was THE BEST recipe so far. I tweaked it a bit ..hiney for maple syrup (I was out) and added the barley powder to water and baking soda as well. and WOW! I wish I'd doubled the recipe. Will make again in a couple of days😁.
I've been using Einkorn for a while but never made anything other than pizza, pancakes, waffles and muffins. I'm so glad I found your chanel. I made these baggles today and they are amazing. 🎉 Now, how do you store them long term? Or for the next day? Thank yoy so much.
I bought some einkorn flour and have been looking at videos to find one that makes sense and seems like I could be successful. Saw your bread video first and now this which is fantastic since I love bagels! My question and possible problem is that I only have a hand mixer since I never bake anymore (single 71 years old). Would it be ok mixing with a wooden spoon for the 10 minutes, or longer or other suggestions?

How is your dough so yellow ? When I sift the bran out of mine it’s still pretty brown
No barley malt syrup in the boil? or honey? or baking soda? They make a difference.
