- Somebody wanted to see this so i'm just putting up this old series up for them lol. I won't grade any of them so you don't have to worry about that!
A little off timing at the begining but I loved it afterwards. These guys deserved their 3rd place finish.
Idk but the girl main vocals sounds flat and sharp most of the times. But they really got the meaning of the song which is positivity.

Technically, this is the first season, but I definitely agree with you. I'm so glad they replaced Nicole, and I watched the seasons in the 'right' order.
They were awesome Shawn from(Boy II Men). I liked them.
I watched season 3 on tv, but then I watched the other seasons here on TH-cam. And I have to say, season 3 is my favorite. Not because I watched it first, but because of Pebtatonix. Haha and I do like Sara so much better than Nicole.
+JassmineBreeanna I think season 2 was the best - On the Rocks, the Backbeats (If I were a boy), that opening number, etc. I like Season 3 for the Yellowjackets and their Wave the Flag song, but Pentatonix just didn't wow me like they did everyone else.
I have literally JUST watched this (May 2020)! So I am waaaay of sync with this! I am a Pentaholic - I watched the entire 3rd season - so now, anyone who sings A Cappella has to measure up to Pentatonix, this group seriously doesn’t! But I think that it’s because they’re singing out of their genre! They’re religious/gospel singers and they sound so much better singing what they know and are comfortable with, they have amazing voices. But you didn’t hear it here. Nowadays, 10 years+ later, if you listen to them, they’re fantastic!
But still not better than Pentatonix! (I’m biased)! 😄🤗

It sounds like the Disney Candlelight version of Joy to the World. I sung it with my high school choir.
I watched this season 2nd after watching the 3rd season 1st. So I'm used to Sara Bareilles as the 3rd judge. And man, Nicole Scherizinger just comes across really dim after watching Sara for a season.
I love this group I actually thought they were singing gospel songs it disappointed me that they were singing secular music

You are correct but it's because she's got greatness around her and the arrangement should have started where she was. She was catching up from the go but this was a team issue Moreso than her. They should have started with less sound and built into it. She also isn't the greatest at what she's doing but is special. This is so hard to be great at and I mean a top 50 kind of singer. They sang as if she was one of the greats but it missed a beat because she's great but not one of the all time greats. Ben had the best commentary on this
