Only competition show that I watched every week. It was really entertaining. Groups seemed to really enjoy each other’s performances. Wish they’d do another series.
I can’t believe how acappella groups is just like The Colors? 11:51, 11:55, 12:02, & 12:40 Pentatonix First Appearance🤩28:03 When they doing the Moves🕺🏻 41:14 Trio Moment: 56:49
@@whiskerbiscuits22 No, there are plenty of a cappella groups. It was always about tv ratings. The network NBC wanted higher ratings than the show could deliver.
@@Lupin788 I dont know man. In the final season, they allowed a A.squared to use computer effects, something which was explicitly denied to Sonos of Season 3. Like, I am sure that ratings where the primary reason, but I honestly think they had a lot of trouble finding more groups up to a certain standard (You know, level of PTX, Home free, Street Corner Symphony etc).
@@JediLordRevan If they kept it as a series that only aired in December when other tv shows usually take a hiatus, they would get decent ratings. I watched all the seasons and personally think season 3 was the best overall, even if you take Pentatonix out of the equation. However, weekly viewership for season 3 was significantly lower than for seasons 1, 2 and 4. Season 3 was the only season that did not air in December. With the various a cappella camps like Deke Sharon's, Avi & Ben Bram;s and the guy from Afro-Blue, as well as all the collegiate a cappella organizations, there is no shortage of singing talent. The network is really only interested in making money, so if the viewership is there and they can sell enough ads, they could be persuaded to bring the show back.
I read somewhere that Sony bailed because they didn't think an a cappella group could have sustained success. I'd like to think PTX, Home Free and Straight No Chaser have made them eat those words by now.
I loved this show but honestly Season 5 wasn't a real season. In my mind it doesn't qualify with the rest of them. It was just one night and that doesn't a season make! But I would love to see it come back!

If you look at time 21:00, you will see Adam Chance, behind the lead singer, BEFORE he joined Home Free! Long hair and all!
I thought so....didn't know if I was just crazy.
IS That Tim also looks like him with long hair
Does anybody know who arranged these opening numbers? The arrangements are dope!
28:03 オープニングからペンタトニックスがレベチだった。たった5人とは思えない音楽が流れた。バランスが良すぎる。そして技術が高い。

Still confused as to why @the Sing Off was discontinued

WTF WHY DID THEY POP THIS?
they would NEVER dress people like this for live television anymore. how times have changed
How so?
Did anyone like the collective I was unsure of them, they may have picked the wrong lead singer maybe?
