I so appreciate all the videos available to keep me from reinventing the wheel in various projects. Unfortunately, the Gorilla Clear Grip Glue was not suited to my wire and rock bonsai at all. The glue is very runny and went all over the place. Even the lines where I secured the tree with rubber bands and tape ended up with glue under and over them. The dried glue made a mess all over the beautiful stone. And there's no solvent for the Gorilla Clear Grip Glue, so now I am trying to loosen it with acetone and scrape it off with a razor blade. I'm hoping the whole project isn't ruined. So disappointing.😥

@@CatherineWyngarden I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s the first time I’ve heard of this issue. What kind of tape did you use? I never used tape before and that’s probably one of the reasons for the mess. I feel terrible about this. Is there a way you can email me a few photos so we can resolve this. Acetone will definitely destroy the wire and rock. Just hold off for now. RadCreativeArt@gmail.com

@@RADCreativeArt thanks for your caring response. I checked with a friend of mine who is a retired geologist (Former USGS Office of Communications at U.S. Geological Survey , Former Member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratory, Studied Chemistry at Rutgers College, Studied Geochemistry at Pennsylvania State University) who assured me that acetone is safe for both rocks and metal. That glue spread all over every surface of my stone. With the acetone, I am able to peel and scrape with a razor blade. I've about finished. If I use glue again, I will use a tacky, instant glue that doesn't require clamping. I'm not able to share a photo here.

Ok I’m happy it worked out for you. And again I’m sorry the glue didn’t work out for your project.
