      Thank you so much. If I’m reading the measurements correctly from your comment, thats a very tiny ring. Like the size of a key chain ring? I have made these using 26 or 28 gauge wire. It’s very thin and you will use smaller seed beads or super small crystal chips if you can find them.

      Good to hear ❤. I for one have been busy making your trees over the past couple of months and feel I have made a lot of progress! Your videos are the best tutorials - so many speed them up, or don’t give details of length of wire, how many stems etc. So frustrating! When learning you need specifics, and that what you give - love it. For a future video I would love to see a bigger tree as I think I am ready to go up a notch, but am nervous about length of wire, how many stems etc. A lovely bigger Christmas pine in white, or green perhaps as a suggestion 🫣😃💕

      Thank you so much for this wonderful reply. 😊 I absolutely agree with you on the step by step method and taking your time to learn. I watched hundreds before I started the channel to see what others would want. Didn’t take long to figure that out 😂. I will do my best to produce a larger one, I have tried in the past but it takes a few days to make (working 7-8 hrs) then making a 3 part video is extremely hard right now with therapy. I have 6 inch hoops. How many and how long of wire do you think I need ?

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its better to have the wire longer than shorter. So just double the length and add 5 inches. 6 inch ring x 2 = 12. Add the 5 inches and its 17 inches long. How many, depends on what chips or beads you’re using, and how thick you want your trunk. If all the beads start to crowd, you can cut one from the branch and continue

    • @RADCreativeArt
      @RADCreativeArt หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, you have to be your own judge on this stone & wire art. If your stone chips are going to be too crowded at the tree trunk, it’s ok to cut one of the wire’s off of that branch. Best advise, use the smallest chips at the bottom (near the trunk). 👍🏻

    I so appreciate all the videos available to keep me from reinventing the wheel in various projects. Unfortunately, the Gorilla Clear Grip Glue was not suited to my wire and rock bonsai at all. The glue is very runny and went all over the place. Even the lines where I secured the tree with rubber bands and tape ended up with glue under and over them. The dried glue made a mess all over the beautiful stone. And there's no solvent for the Gorilla Clear Grip Glue, so now I am trying to loosen it with acetone and scrape it off with a razor blade. I'm hoping the whole project isn't ruined. So disappointing.😥

      @@RADCreativeArt thanks for your caring response. I checked with a friend of mine who is a retired geologist (Former USGS Office of Communications at U.S. Geological Survey , Former Member of technical staff at Sandia National Laboratory, Studied Chemistry at Rutgers College, Studied Geochemistry at Pennsylvania State University) who assured me that acetone is safe for both rocks and metal. That glue spread all over every surface of my stone. With the acetone, I am able to peel and scrape with a razor blade. I've about finished. If I use glue again, I will use a tacky, instant glue that doesn't require clamping. I'm not able to share a photo here.

      Ok I’m happy it worked out for you. And again I’m sorry the glue didn’t work out for your project.

      The tree originally on the box top and designed with some, sand, stones, and fairy moss, however I didn’t video that one and it was sold. The next video I make, I will be sure to do the boxtop method for you Carol. 🥰
