Join me on a very long winded ramble (sorry) about what I'm planning on planting this year, and whether or not I was able to successfully get anything going before the greenhouse is built!

Currently binge watching from the start, having come across your channel this week. I have grown veg before with varying degrees of failure, gave up for about 10 years and now intend trying again. So watching your videos (and this one is enjoyable and useful) is motivating me.

*high five!* me too. I've been watching JB's newer videos for a month or two now, and I've gotten to the point where I just want to see how his plot and gardens all began, because I know how amazing they look at present!
I consider myself to be an 'experienced' gardener - not an expert (far from, in fact) - because I've probably killed at least as many plants as I've grown (if not more) 😆
I learn so much from watching other people's journey of learning in the garden and I love seeing their ideas for how to deal with all the common challenges of gardening - infrastructure, dig vs no-dig, making compost and getting soil affordably, pest control, raising seedlings.

I am by no means an expert either. This is my first year of growing. The one thing I have learnt is even with seed compost is to sieve it so seeds can grow easily. This is really important with carrots so they don’t fork. Hark at me sounds like I know what I am talking about. Thanks love your videos.

I feel your pain about not having proper labels on the seedlings... a friends 3-year-old got into my greenhouse and moved all the labels. I didn't find out until months later when plants turned out to not be as labeled.

That's a very cheeky 3 year old! At least I knew mine were all chili plants hahaha
