LOVED the early 80's Jefferson Starship, saw some great live shows from the Modern Times tour.
Just started college in Montana. Took this album back to Scotland and was amazed no one had heard it. Couldn't even find it here in the UK.
I've always thought this was the best version of the band for it's time. Mickey and Grace's voices blend well together, the band in top form.
Grace Slick was gorgeous, talented and absolutely frightening.

@J Landon Are you implying that this song didn’t get any radio airplay? I’ve heard it on the radio at least several times. I also saw and heard this video several times when it was in rotation on MTV.
This song got lots of airplay on Detroit rock radio for years after it was released. It was definitely one of their heaviest songs, and that's what we like in this town.

Always loved the strong, constant, bass line in this song. It's a rarity in rock music to have the bass nearly carry the tune. A nice change.

This is such a great track -- the whole band is firing on all cylinders! Brings me back to a very specific time/place. Used to hear this a lot on KSFX, so I thought it was a pretty big hit, but I just looked it up, and it didn't even crack the top 40 (only got 48 🤔). Don't know why it wasn't bigger, but the band's output from '79 - '81 was some of the best music they put out, IMO (still love Balin's stuff, too).
