Awesome. Thanks for the kind words. I'm trying to get back to making more videos more often as work calms down. I think we all strive to improve. Once I hit MA that's when the real work has begun.
I am buying a used 92FS from a friend for my SSP gun and seriously considering sending it to Wilson Combat for their $460 IDPA package which includes an action tune, beveled magazine work, new sights, new guide rod, new grips and their Armor-Tuff finish.
That sounds like a great option. Lots of good Berettas out there. Not sure a beveled magwell would keep you in SSP but that’s a whole other discussion. Another option - Drop an LTT ‘trigger job in a bag’ in it and have a local gunsmith install a new WC rear sight and call it good. Would save you about $250. Then add LOK veloce grips and a $10 stainless guide rod.
You can get the sights replaced but you have to send the slide into Trijicon they will replace the sights (from what I understand) cause they still do installs on new Berettas. I love the M9, it is my favorite handgun ever, followed closely by the P226, the Beretta doesn't use a Browning action, it has the locking block P38 style so the barrel doesn't move much, and not up and down at all.
I might have missed it, but are you ditching the Tanfos, or just shooting this for fun now? I just acquired a Limited Pro in .40 to use for IDPA ESP and USPSA Limited, and I’m thinking it should be a platform I can stick with for a while. I’m new to USPSA, and if it works out I may add a Limited Custom and set it up just for USPSA.
I’ve been shooting Tanfos for 2 years now. I needed a change! FWIW I’m certainly not selling the LimPro and I’m probably going to start shooting my Tanfo Match in LTD the second half of the year.
Hey man, I've got a set of black wilson Combat g10 grips standard thickness I'll sell super cheap. I bought them for my m9a1 and sold that for the m9a3.
Great Vid! Thanks for taking the time to make it. As a middle of the road IDPA shooter I watch all of them in an effort to improve myself.

You can change poi by switching the rear sights. Pepperoni sight from Wilson are way to go
Good call. I’ll check it out. I like a blacked out rear sight anyways.
Where would you buy sights from?
That gun is fucking sick
I’m a fan now for sure. This particular one has all the right wear in all the right spots making it a gorgeous gun to me.
