- Having taxed the VFR for six months from May 1st, I decided to take her for a quick spin to make sure all was functioning correctly. Forty miles later the result was all perfect. Ready for 2023.
Enjoy the video.
Really miss my pearl indian blue FH. My favourite bike of the many I owned.
Good man Phil. They’re a great bike and almost indestructible. I’ve just done my annual mileage check for all my bikes. I only managed 330mls on the VFR. I need a good toe in the hole😂 Thanks for commenting.
bro idk why but these 80's bikes look so much cooler than what we have now. i just wish it was easy to find these
Keep an eye on Fleabay, they still turn up from time to time and they're very reasonably priced. Thanks for commenting.
Alistair, i`m happy to see you are making sure that the XJ doensn´t catch a cold. Keeping it varm and cozy :-)
I wonder what they all talk about under that cover!😆
You need a wee c90 in that garage lol 👍🏻 good vids I watch them all many thanks.
Cheers mate, C90's are getting very pricey!
Myself a vfr fan have 88fj model in red which is a minter with 67 thousand miles on it a 94fr vfr 750 and a vfr 1200f both of the 750 ones are as good as a modern bike the v4 honda engine is the perfect road bike engine in my view.
Good man Andy. That's a hell of a collection. I wouldn't mind a ride on one of the 1200's, they're a great looking machine.
The vfr with cam gear drive, have that slight whine, great sounding bike and very tidy, well looked after.
Thanks Keith. One of these days I'm going to find out how to get rid of that damned wind noise so that you can actually hear the engine properly.
At last the VFR is back out looking n sounding sweet. Can't say the same for them wing mirrors Alistair. The stems of your old ones will polish back to white with them in the vise and a drill and polishing wheel. Mine came up real nice. Looking forward to your RC30 and Magni videos very much. 👍
Cheers Mick, I'll give that a go. Thanks for the info.
Nice one Alistair. 11.54 litres for 100 miles = approx 41.6 mpg? Looking forward to the Magni video 👍
And, as if by magic, the Magni video appears! Cheers Richard.
Salve , ne ho una anche io ma ho un problema alla centralina della benzina e non riesco ad aggiustarla 😢
I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you will be able to get it repaired soon. Thanks for commenting.
Temp gauge didn't seem to move for quite some time ??
Yeah Keith, it does take quite a while to heat up. It has always been like this.
@@AlistairCampbell1047cc as long as there’s no side effects like emulsified oil?
@@keithriley3159 No, clean as a whistle.
