I love Terry's pink twinchie. Looks like she wrapped the "legs" of her blanket stitches with another thread. I've actually been meaning to try that one of these days! The tissue paper my entries were wrapped in came from Delta Patchwork, an online fabric vendor. :-)

Maey from Arkansas. Love love. Needle book. Trying to make my first book. Question. Can you sew with a machine or is it better to hand stitch
Hi Mary, thanks for watching! If you're referring to the construction of the needle book, you can use your machine. Just know that if your book is bulky you might have trouble getting all the layers under the presser foot. When it comes to the decorative part, I tend to do hand stitching, which is how it gets the name "slow stitching." But you could certainly use your machine if you wanted to.

Thank you for watching, Lorna! No, I don't have any "how to" videos on any of my beading. Mostly because it just takes so long to make the beaded pieces. Once I learn how to use this fancy video editing software a beading tutorial might be more achievable because I'd be able to speed up and edit etc. I'll definitely put it on my list of things people want to see, so keep an eye out for it. curious as to when embroidery started being called slow stitching
I've been wondering the same thing!? I've always called all of this (with the exception of the very obvious Sashiko style of stitching) embroidery my whole life and all of a sudden, it's being called slow stitching. Now, unfortunately, I think what has happened is that people started calling any stitching done with a needle instead of a machine "slow stitching" because I've come across videos called "slow stitching" and they are just hand-piecing pieces, like for a quilt, with a needle and thread instead of on a machine. Also, I've noticed the trend on a lot of embroidery books, to avoid the word embroidery in the title and just call the book like, "Stitching from the Heart" or "Stitches for Christmas" when all it is is embroidery. So, I don't understand it either. I put "slow stitching" in the title of this video just because it seems to be what people are relating to more than embroidery. Thanks for your question! xo

You are doing fancy stitcheson wool on squares that you plan for your living room would you share the sizes with me
So, the squares are 4.5 inches square. Once they are sewn together with a 1/4 inch seam they will be an even four inches. The circles are a variety of sizes. They are: 1 1/2, 1 3/4, 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inches. Hope that helps!
