HELP I'm writting my MIT essays and I've answered some of the optional prompts bcs some of them I felt that it was necessary, but there are some other prompts that I just don't know how to answer. Is being an app developer at 15 a wow factor for the applications? I feel a lot of other 15 year olds have created apps

Honestly that is a wow factor for applicants especially if it is successful or a really well developed app. But then again i am only in middle school so i would not know much about that aspect.

For the prompt about how you did something for family or community all you did was describe ymca. You really didn’t describe the impact you actually made. If you summarize it, it would just be you saying you worked at ymca. So I’m. Wondering what makes an essay effective. The content? Or just have the admission officers interested with your writing?
