Green Mountain Falls, COLORADO 🌲 - Home to Colorado's ONLY Skyspace | Colorado Springs Day Trip

Green Mountain Falls, a quaint town west of Colorado Springs, is nestled in a picturesque valley and surrounded on three sides by Pike National Forest.
The town's centerpiece is a Victorian-style gazebo on a man-made lake. The small lake has a walking path, a playground, and lots of geese!
Green Mountain Falls is known for great hiking and beautiful art. The town features Colorado's first and only Skyspace by artist James Turrell. The unique installation has a retractable roof for year-round use and blends seamlessly into the cliffside landscape.
The public Skyspace is accessible by a short, steep hike and offers a serene space for connecting with nature. There are sunrise and sunset shows on Thursday through Sunday, and they require advanced tickets ($10 each). Outside of formal showtimes, visitors can enter the Skyspace for free.
Green Mountain Falls has a charming small-town atmosphere and unique attractions. It is a must-visit destination that should be on your summer bucket list!

Thank you so much, Chelsey! 😊I love Green Mountain Falls. It is a short drive from Colorado Springs but feels a world away. When my kids were younger, they loved walking around the lake and visiting with the geese. We miss you at the shop!!
