This video was probably the most resourceful and spot on video I’ve watched in a very long time. You’ve touched on all of my pain points and offered realistic solutions. Thank you!
This video blew my mind! I was feeling so overwhelmed with the steps to set up my business that I was frozen. Thank you for sharing such a wealth of information in a short amount of time. My thoughts are racing with all kinds of ideas and angles to approach from. Major memtal expansion happening here!! 🤯
Super helpful, even though I’m not setting up a coaching business. I’m an artist, but many principles still apply, esp. if I decide to do some sort of art coaching or teaching some day. Thank you, Caren! You are AMAZING!!
Caren, this was so valuable and helpful! Thanks for your generosity in sharing! Question: what about being “certified “ as an ADHD coach? I’m an occupational therapist and going through an ICF certification program for coaching. Adding on an additional 7k in some instances to be a “certified ADHD coach” seems redundant to me, given my experience as an OT working w neurodivergence. Oh, also have ADHD ;) What are your thoughts on the ADHD certification?
Hey there, I there there's value in getting training in ADHD coaching specifically as it's very specific to ADHD neurology and behavior. Many of my clients come to me after having an experience with a neurotypical coach that didn't understand how to help them. As an OT, clearly you have a lot of understanding of ADHD, so that's going to be helpful as well. I went to ADDCA and I know you don't have to do the whole training over again if you're already ICF certified. You might just need to do one or two courses. Just my thoughts....
