I plowed with an ol timer and he used to get real thick rubber from an old conveyor belt and cut it and bolt it to his Cutting Edge and I tell you what it worked awesome
@@kevinmcgann9732 makes me think of a scrapper we had when my family had the farm. It was like a 1/4 of a big arse loader tire so it had a nice C shape to it. We used it for pushing cow shit and it worked like a charm.
I once had a diesel instructor who used a Komatsu dozer to plow the school's parking lot. They got tee'd off a little cause of the tracks tearing up the parking lot. But it did serve a better purpose when I needed to repair a hydraulic cylinder. We wedged the ram under the blade to keep it from moving. See, it was good for something. Nice plow video. Love the vid bud!! Plowed on the state for twelve seasons.. decided to take it easy this winter and got into a backhoe with a pusher at my local grocery store... Loving it!!! But boy the shit I could do with that pusher!!! That thing is awesome!!!
the coke lines that the joints on that thing leaves are pretty intense. i dont remember those in your older videos when you first got the new metalpless. is it wearing out there or did i just not notice it before?
I must say its quit fun to se that an American can use some «new» equipment not just a box blade or just a angle blade, and I’m not just talking about snow removal. Same with the engcon, good to se that that old equipment are starting to hit the US hard ;-)
Hey Dirt Ninja, been watching your videos for quite a while now, I grew up on a farm and am in construction now and I know it's no easy task being as good as you are, so props! I have never seen a snow box with the adjustable sides like this. During the winter I work with a good sized snow removal company. I plow with standard boxes and cage style boxes (the box removes and you are left with a straight blade). I'm curious if you have noticed any drawbacks that with that unit you are running?
Thanks for watching! No there really are no drawbacks. This is the best of evey plow out there. There is nothing this plow cant do that another can. Add in the live edge and you cant beast this thing. I love it
All depends on the brand though. Ive had HLA, and it was great, went to snow wolf quattro plow and was very disappointed, now metal pless (to cheap for live edge though) and its by far the best plow out there. Just know where your hoses are and youll love it
Hey Ninja, it looks like your "leaking" a little more snow through the gap in between the wings and moldboard? Don't remember it being that much. Has there been some wear there??
the site is about 7 acres and for a full clean up of 2inches I can do the entire site in about 45 min. That includes about 6 acres of parking area and 1 acre of road all done with this one machine
I want one of these blades sooo bad. I keep telling the bosses at work they should get a hydro blade instead of this static arctic sectional they have and they just look at me like im crazy.
@@bwillan I told them i wanted to make videos like this for them and they looked at me like i was crazy. Guess ill just have to start doing it for my self then and take some business from em .
Would you watch this if it was an hour long? Thats what it was in real time. Serious question, Im just curious. I'll upload a really long plowing video if people want it.
Dirt Ninja I mean I would I personally would yeah, I like when your talking and have the go pro inside, i plow snow to I live in Ontario I just enjoy the set up you run and have learned from your videos
@@DirtNinja I'd also vote for regular speed and no music. If I want to speed up I'll either set the speed faster or preview and click forward. Music is frankly annoying, prefer the sound of the equipment. Really do enjoy watching the equipment work tho.
You've probably forgot more then I'll ever know about operating. So I'm just curious as to why it doesn't seem like your using the blade to it's full potential in the lot ~ 3:00
Looks like a decent stream of material coming out of the plow where the right/left wings meet the rest of the plow. Never noticed it in any of your other videos. That aways been the case?
@@DirtNinja Not the way I would plow it. Started watching your videos and just thought you were wasting a lot of time and wear doing it your way. Love your equipment...cat's meow! Hope you're having a good year! Back to my walleye video. ;-)
@@atomicwedgie8176 no problem. To each their own. One thing to keep in mind is there are only certain locations where I am allowed to pile the snow so sometimes its not the most efficient place but thats where it has to go.
Those snail trails the pivot points leave would irritate my OCD
honestly! I wonder if a guy could attach a peace of rubber or something so it wouldnt do that anymore?
I bought an older model blade and i am working on some sort of rubber plug/blocker.

The road gear in this loader is amazing! You did that really fast!
I always enjoy your videos, whether they are in real time or if they are speeded up.
me too
Thanks for watching! I try and mix up the real time videos and sped up ones
Mute the music and put the video at 0.25 speed. It's much better.
@@DirtNinja this is real time though right. You have the fastest loader in history i presume.
I would 100% watch this in real time... It's super relaxing
I’d watch the full our long video

We need a machine/storm breakdown. What you pack, your electronics, food, etc.
Dang that’s a big ass parking lot lol
Visuals great, thank you; music h/e could “not” be worse.
Keep the videos coming!!
Is it weird to say that watching snow being shovelled is therapeutic? anyways top video dude.
haha thanks for watching!
It's especially therapeutic in heat waves of summer.

Post more of this stuff!
More like snow ninja
I'm sooo jelous about all cool attachments you have.
i need your set up ...
but winter is over :-D
Im running an f450 with an 8611 which is great but man could i merk my route with this!
now that is a plow leaves very little to clean up
You could have put a microphone outside the cab, as so we could hear the equipment instead of the music.

I’m curious of how productive the metal pless really is, how big is the property it’s currently on and how long would a typical 1-2 inch storm take?

Too bad they can't close that gap between the wing and moldboard, for the money that thing shouldn't be leaving such big trails of snow.
Where are you out of?
New Hampshire
What gear do I have it on when plowing
I plow in 3rd in a case 721e with a 12foot blade 4foot side plates. I don't think it matters what gear you're to much unless it's heavy wet snow.
I run it in 3rd gear
