Honestly is so hard to root for anyone in the top tier... Some have already been caught, others work for Matxin, others are danish running for Jumbo-Rabobank just like Rijs...
@@eleycki All the evidence until now points to the opposite (it burns people faster). Also, if a cyclist keeps doping after a two year suspension, they are idiots, and the UCI is an even bigger idiot, and the sport is worthless (which I am not ready to concede just yet, least of all without proof). So I truly believe his brilliant career after the suspension speaks a lot in his favour.
@@paminafernandezcamacho920 you miss my point entirely. A cheat from this period was likely to be using steroids, by example, that positively change the physique from there on in. Blood doping isn’t my point at all.
@@eleycki Possibly, I'm not too knowledgeable in that field. But how many others from that era, have we seen be that competitive at such an advanced age? Only guy I can think of, that even rode into his 40's was Davide Rebellin, who rode on conti level that last years of his career.
He deserves to be world Champion more than anyone else in Cycling history.
Those sprints at the first road stages of the 2008 TDF and Vuelta are just insane.
A día de hoy veo el sprint de el campeonato del mundo y todavía me emociono.

Hoy toca la última bala y esperemos que sea ganadora. Leyenda.
La Ultima Bala
That's pretty dope
Good stuff!

Un ciclista irrepetible.

u mean rasmussen. also, i just accept the fact that everyone in the peleton is juiced and just enjoy the show.
Get over yourself. Cycling is cleaner now than it’s ever been, and all the data transparency proves it
Then don't watch and let the rest of us enjoy it
It’s amazing what being juiced can do eh?!
Dude was still winning in his 40's. I dont think juice solely can do that - Valverde was always a hell of a bike rider!
@@Rahbekkk if you alter / advance your physiology at a young age does that not lead to lasting benefits? It wasn’t all about blood-doping you know.

What a joke
Should have been banned from cycling in 2006 already :)))))
