This has got to be the most amazing build of an arcade cabinet that I have ever seen. So much detail went into this and you have done an exceptional job!
One of the best builds I have seen on here good job nice that you can play some car games with a proper steering wheel. For alot of home builds you end up having to compromise between a wheel cabinet or stick cabinet and use controllers, especially if you have only space for one. Alot of attention to detail and planing done here. Very good job.
The best arcade cabinet ever! I'm currently getting all the pieces together to build one myself. If it goes well, luckily I'm a hobbiest wood builder, I will sell it and build another one with more bells and whistles.
I’m speechless 👍😁 I have watched several of your Ultimarc tutorial videos. I have ordered my Ultimarc parts and will soon build a new control panel for my Arcade machine. I like the idea of using a Streamdeck so thanks to you I have bought one and is very nice.
Hi Daniel, wow, the video of your cp was already impressive... but now when I see the full cabinet, a true work of art! Mine is coming along quite nicely.. your el wire on the cp gave me another idea.. gonna try to implement it in my cab. When it's ready, I'll sens you some pics. Thanks again for the professional work on the plans!!! I send them to the cnc-company and they were ready in one day without the need of any clarification whatsoever!
That is truly a dream machine. Only thing you are lacking are some positional guns with recoil. Maybe that could be on a pedestal with casters you set off to the side.
Could have the wheel underneath the panel and then flips from bottom to top when you need it. Hiding it underneath the control panel when you not using it. I know lots of work
Daniel you are the man! Can you show a vid of you playing some racing games with the wheel? Also are or would you do a virtual pinball build? Curious to see what/how you’d take it to the next level
That steering wheel addition is awesome, I hope you have tried Ridge racer, outrun and scud race with it ....(outrun 2 too if that has been emulated). incredible work.
@TheDanielSpies I'm a big fan of your work and your panels are something I'm aspiring to get to! Would you be interested in joining me on a future live stream to chat about your build? I started a weekly TH-cam show called "The Next Level" and you are absolutely next level with your builds. would love to interview you if you are interested, thanks!
looks great, I had a short question, have you use 2 Ipac Boards, when yes how the software check this, when i use ipac software, is there to boards,? thx for a short feedback
Hi Roger, you need to do a firmware update on the second Ipac board and make it 'ID2'. After this everything is recognized as a separate board and works very well. You can find the firmware needed on the Ultimarc website.
I have a arcade machine with that same wheel and I wanna know does that wheel work with all of the arcade games of it don’t then is there a way to make it work with them
This is very impressive as always. I would love to see what you would do with a pedestal game. Are you replacing your other one? This looks like your other ultimate just upgraded.
Ah sure. Search for 19mm momentary LED buttons on google. You will be flooded with results. They are very common in every country. Let me know if you find them
Hi Daniel i have been following your builds for some time now and they are amazing! I have recently built my own 2 player arcade with a 32 inch screen and i would like to turn everything on with one button as you have done, but i cannot figure it out. Can you help with how you did this? Any reply would be a great help. Keep building these amazing machines as they are an inspiration Thanks in advance.
In my case, I was lucky. The screens will turn of when not recieving signal and the 12 spots are connected to the pc PSU. Another (better) way would be to use a heavy relay. So: 115/220V into the PC, PC 12 or 5V into the relay, relay to the extention cable. This is commonly used in virtual pinball machines as well.
Sorry for 2 posts on this.. I forgot to ask.. Does this now take the places as the worlds most expensive arcade? It looks like your other with vast improvements.. though missing the beer fridge
Yes, This model is now the most expensive/complex 😂 but: I will be beaten soon: I made another custom design for a guy (Nick) that will exceed everything I have done when he is finished.
Absolutely amazing. And I love the use of the Elgato Stream Deck. You have fully inspired me to do this in my cabinet. Can you tell me what the dimensions are of the hole the Stream Deck sits in?
HI Daniel, short quesion have you ever installed a bass shaker for your cabinet, I'm looking to see if that makes sense, I have already installed a subwoofer,
I can watch this video over and over again lol. Great one. Daniel how did you get the dynamic marquee to display the same size as the 7’inch lcd screen in the control panel?
Hi, the Marquees are operated by a program 'Hyper Marquee' the build in screen just shows the logo or game-box art. The huge Marquee on top shows the actual Marquee. Thanks Daniel
Okay I see how do you set that up in Hypermarquee? I find it difficult to to set up for two different monitors. I want my second and three to display marquees or clear logos. Not sure how to do that in EDS..
Absolutely spectacular build Daniel! Your previous build was amazing enough, but this really ups the bar with all your cool little touches. Brilliant! Where did you find your marquee LCD screen?
What is the front end software you are using? I see it is windows os. Just wondering what you had to do to get it to full launch and shutdown with a button press.
WooW WTF Amazing Cabinet, you have a knack for it ;) I have 2 questions + a question-suggestion: 1.Do you have any photos of snippets of what it looks like from the bottom, ew mounting this retractable shelf under the steering wheel pedals, I understand that it is on ordinary shelf guides (I would like to mount something like that at home) 2. Does this solution mean that the Cabinet does not wobble, moves etc while playing, I know that it is a massive Cab but still hmm? -For what really and whether this screen on the panel is useful, in my opinion it is unnecessary, so I ask, it would be better in my opinion to give the trackball lower (I do not know if someone has hit the glass by a strong movement): P
The sliding panel is not on standard rails. It is sliding with a special construction I made out of MDF. This level of precision is only possible when you CNC cut your machine though. Screen inside the control panel is not needed at all. But: it is very cool to have it ;-))
The 3.5 disk and EL lighting are awesome!! The only thing that bugs me on both your cabinets is that the marquees are not vertical but tilted. any particular reason?
Yes, I did not really like the designs with the hypermarquee flat. All the designs (except mine) have this indeed. So I changed this to have the same angle as the main screen. :-)

1.6mm I think
