I don’t think you were alone don’t do this again going by yourself go with a lot of people. don’t leave traces you were there someone could be watching you in the woods. listen to your gut feeling if you don’t feel like you alone most likely someone is watching stay safe.
Amazing views from the living room window! Would love to win this home in a contest!! The person visiting would have to pick up his/her sign and hit the road again!
When the dog was not coming down the stairs I instantly wondered if it was distracted by someone hiding upstairs. I was relieved when they left the house.
So many abandoned buildings could have been beautiful homes. I recently explored the largest abandoned mansion in Canada and it felt unreal that it was just sitting there getting overgrown
Indeed. Depending on the backstory, it has great potential. With the popularity of flipping houses and others that have been abandoned, might be of interest to someone. I'd be curious to know who had it in the first place and gave up on it. Location seems a little remote, but I'd love to have a nice and cozy place to get away to. A little TLC and a few bucks and imagination, could be a keeper. (but, as it is, looks more like A CREEPER! ha ha)
Beautiful view. Can be fixed up nice! In 1980s Scandinavia, people have cabins in the mountains and all hikers can spend the night as long as you leave it tidy as you found it. It is an honor system.
People really need to check their local and state laws about property. In the U.S., in the state of Missouri, purple or white paint on a fence post has the same LEGAL ramifications as a 'No Trespassing' sign on that post. In other words, you can be arrested and charged for being on that property without the owner's consent.
@@barneygimble8984 Um, no..... most areas that have laws like that are also rural areas. People tend to have a lot more guns in rural areas. Just saying. Getting shot, even by accident is a possibility.
Just came across your video, what a wonderful house I would love to live in it mind the stairs are pretty steep! I think whoever was there have long gone probably realised they were too far from amenities.. Thank you for sharing your dog is gorgeous by the way 😃
That’s a nice farmhouse table. 😂 It would be nice if squatters cleaned up after themselves. I mean who wants to live in their own garbage. Although this one looks like someone was just passing thru.
That looks like a lovely home at one time as the comment before me said. I thought it was kind of a little spooky inside myself. Thank you for sharing. I remember going into many abandoned buildings when I was younger my sister's and I although our parents said don't you dare. It was always spooky
Looks like the original owners/inhabitants had a generator for power, given the location. At least all the windows seemed to be intact. I wonder if the squatter broke in a door, but did not have the decency to secure it when he left the property?
It’s likely that they had a generator, the house is 20min down a bumpy logging road. There was no sign of breaking and entering, could be possible that the owners left the house unlocked when they abandoned the property
Most of that stuff in the "fridge" does need to be in the fridge that doesn't work anyway,There was water in the freezer power has been down for months not years
It was my first time bringing her to an abandoned house and I checked the floor to make sure there wasn’t any broken glass or sharp objects. This place seemed clean enough to bring her along
Amazing what people walk away from....I had to walk away from my house because I had nothing but bad memories there 😅 bought it for $25.000 and walked away and left for back taxes, and transients destroyed the inside....city tore it down
@@taiter Those plastic cups repurposed for the wine,Looks like boozy builders or as you suggest a squatter and probably druggie probably saw you coming believing you to be the owner, Looked lived in right up until you arrived
Your beautiful Scout is so smart. When you were saying… hello? Hello? she stopped panting to listen. I really enjoyed you both and subscribed
Thank you 😊 I’m so lucky to have Scout as a partner
It was a nice home a one time. If I was homeless I would love to find a place like this.
I don't think it was ever a "home" more of a "inherited" retreat,Who felt it needed modernisation possibly to rent and has been abondoned project
me too... I'd move right in...
It's a nice house, still in good condition compare to some occupied home,I will spend couple weeks to clean up, do some repair then live comfortably.
,👍
Beautiful dog , crazy how these houses just become abandoned, that was probably once a beautiful house 🏡
Thank you! It would have been a beautiful home for sure, I wonder what could have happened to make the owner abandon such a nice home

Love your doggo. Nice find but definitely has a vibe.
Thanks!
This would be paradise for a homeless guy! Out of the weather, some furniture, cooking supplies, and even a woodstove!
The main issue is air quality. There is mold and animal waste but if the squatter isn’t worried about that than it would be paradise for them
When the dog was not coming down the stairs I instantly wondered if it was distracted by someone hiding upstairs. I was relieved when they left the house.
She’s very curious and likes to take her time sniffing around lol. She would have barked for sure if there was someone
That house has a nice view of the forest. That's a good-looking dog too. Wouldn't mind seeing a video about her.
Thank you! Scout is in most of my videos and there are plenty more videos of her coming up😀
What a shame could be a wonderful home!

That’s really cool, I wish we had something like that here. It would reduce a lot of weight in my bag when I do overnight hikes
It is "visited" often due to the lack of vegetation on the road,Tyes constantly squash any new growth
It did have a creepy vibe. I could feel it.
I absolutely loved the hippie image. I instantly fell for you.🤣
Thank you! I definitely consider myself a hippie, I live in a van and I have a love for nature. Maybe one day I’ll go vegan so I can be full hippie😂
Be good as new in no time!!! I sure do 🙏Hope it gets SAVED soon👍🏻
Wouldn't mind having a place like that 🙌
It's probably an old hunting cabin. I don't think they keep power on for them to only be used a few weekends a year. Idk tho. That sign was odd.
It's a nice place. Just need a little fixing. Atleast someone is getting use out If it
It’s pretty moldy but it could be fixed up for sure
It still looks livable.
Your pup is adorable! Strange house.
It gave me the creeps too.

"Ollie Ollie Ollie oxen free "

This house felt really spooky, I think it was the combination of the panhandler sign and the location, it was tucked far away down a logging road
Looks like the original owners/inhabitants had a generator for power, given the location. At least all the windows seemed to be intact. I wonder if the squatter broke in a door, but did not have the decency to secure it when he left the property?

Im imagining a scene from wrong turn😂 thats a creepy house...
It felt like I was in a scary movie lol
Look at the expiration dates on any boxes or bottles and subtract a year or two. That will tell you the last time someone lived there.
That’s a great idea! I wish I would have checked now that you mention it
New subscriber !! Loving your dog and video;)

That’s a good point, I did find it weird that there was stuff in the fridge
I'd be Leary of allowing my dog in there. It's not safe.
It was my first time bringing her to an abandoned house and I checked the floor to make sure there wasn’t any broken glass or sharp objects. This place seemed clean enough to bring her along
Looks like it's being renovated by someone who hasn't got a clue,Kitchen upstairs? Enough room for that downstairs! Two bathrooms unfinished
You t seem to be relaxed there and not
in a hurry to leave.
You're trespassing on someones land, unless its Crown Land, just because its "abandoned" doesn't mean there are not land owners somewhere.
I could /would live there
hey taiter keep up the good work

I agree, it’s sad and also strange seeing these houses abandoned. I’m not sure what caused the owner to leave the house abandoned
Are you going to one of the local government offices to get details and ownership records.
Awesome
a traveler stayed there for a while, then moved on too far in the boonies no free food.
Well I would live there..just needs a Lil love...

Drama queen. No one lives there now. Even if they did, they were no where to be found in the last 2 weeks.

Nope, sleeping in a mouldy house would be awful lol
Sooo in typical brazen bold-azz male fashion U just couldn't resist & had to go where U weren't invited , right ? !
