In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

The thing I love about Guz is; he JUDGED the tasks. If he thought it was cool, he had a blast. If he thought it was dumb, he couldn't be arsed. I respect that. :D
Guz was fantastic on this series, but then again, they were all so good, it's hard for me to pick a favorite. Always have to give credit to the people who are just there to do what they do and have fun.

Guz is easily one of the most endearing TM contestants of all time, though this season was particularly endearing as a whole. Great cast.

yes! as the newer seasons have come out, i’ve known fewer and fewer contestants, and i repeatedly think they’re going to be worse, because i don’t know them, but this was one of my favourites ever. in all honestly most of the contestants i knew originally, quite often i end up liking them less

Guz is aggressively adorable. Endlessly quotable. It's ALL about the way he barks "Alex!" in the ball task, and all the revelations in the lab. 🤣🤣

The way the puzzle task devolved to Guz singing "this task is shit" was so great to watch
I loved the crazy sibling chemistry that Guz, Morgana and Desiree shared for this series.

I love TM for helping me discover legends like Guz. The 3:42 “…spit on your hand” and Alex’s reaction makes me crack up every time
My favourite Alex reaction too! It's like he didn't expect that detail to be mentioned and trying to hide that they were actually being naughty kids together, which I genuinely believe they did. Alex seems to genuinely crack up the most when it involves guz.

It's kind of indescribable how much positive energy flows from this man. I wonder what it would've looked like if Mike Wozniack and Guz had been on the same series and been teamed up.

I love tasks like that, like the HOP one.
That cast is my favorite. Such a joy to watch them work the tasks and interact during the stage show. They enjoyed each other so much!
Definitely one of my faves - each one was funny, had unique vibes and the five of them together in-studio was a delight.
Guz is the kind of person everyone wants to be friends with cause he's got such a good-natured attitude and is playful. He was easily my favorite part of series 12, which is saying something since i loved all the contestants.

Love that in the teamtask of the “revelations”, when Guz first talks in the walkie-talkie, Desiree asks “is that helpful?”

I generally get really frustrated with contestants who seem to be unfamiliar with the show before being on, or who half-ass the tasks (especially the prize tasks), but there's something about Guz that won me over from the start. A "best of" Taskmaster would have to include him.
He's just so jolly and good-natured. I think he really enjoyed being on the show
@@egalomon That's exactly it. There's nothing worse than a contestant who is both uncaring and clearly in a bad mood. I don't want to name any names, but a lot of people they've had on clearly are only doing it because their agent told them to, and they look like they'd rather be anywhere else.
Guz is clearly having a good time, so he works really well.

@@arielvanmoos7583 Oh goodness. There have been some contestants who have almost ruined the entire franchise for me, because they were clearly there for the check, and there are so many good comedians that would have killed to have had a chance at TM.

probably the season i’ve rewatched the most amount of times honestly whole cast was 10/10😂
Alongside James Acaster, Guz is my favourite Taskmaster contestant ever. He should have won S12 and is the true winner as far as I'm concerned. He could be on every series of Taskmaster or any other show, and I would never complain.
What I realised from watching the riddle task again is that if I'm not mistaken, only Morgana got the bonus points for the 'submarine' part, if Guz and Desiree got them too Guz would have won, so Morgana got 3 points for doing pretty much nothing outside the first 15 minutes while Guz and Des struggled with a riddle for an hour. Seriously this would be a top 5 season if it wasn't for Morgana being so blatantly favouritzed. Noel Fielding is also the same but at least he had his moments of brilliance, such as the camouflage, dominating the sandwich delivery task, snapping the cue etc.
@@iliketrains3495 Guz got 10 points in a live task, and he got 4 points on a team task where he did nothing but eat a chocolate button, while the others actually did a task.
@@OwlRTA I forgot about those at the time. I agree that his 10 points was pretty unfair but the chocolate button task was scored the same as any regular team task; if whoever had to guess the tasks got it wrong (it was pretty easy to guess tbf) the whole team would have scored less (and if I remember right the team of 2 won). While only Morgana could get the 2 bonus points in the riddle task and those were added on to her performance in the actual task where she didn't do much besides have some of the code (although credit where it's due, she did come up with the idea of having Desiree and Guz stand in their doorways so they could both see the map)
This is my favorite series. Every single person was great.

According to Wikipedia, a space hopper is known as "hoppity hop", "hippity hop" or a "sit n bounce" in the US.
I can't think of a hoppity hop without thinking about the South Park episode Medicinal Fried Chicken. I had the music as a ringtone for a while, Randy Marsh is so happy bouncing on his balls.
Guz’s jingle reminded me of most of the perfume and cologne ads you see here in America. Where Chris Evans rides in on a motorcycle and goes into a bar where a bimbo drapes herself over him. Or when they play a lady Gaga song with ladies dressed in gowns.
Love Gus Khan. We only just got Man Like Mobeen in Aus. Gold.
My favorite Guz moment is probably the ball task- where he notes he wanted heavier balls to do, "Some real damage."

Guz is wonderful, but something else I enjoy from this is how much Morgana looks to me like an ostrich when she has the camera on her head.
This was a very good series if not the best so far, and Guz Khan was my absolute favourite!
