LSWR N Gauge Folding Layout 4 - Roads, Grass and Spider Protection?!

- We finally get back to working on the folding layout, so let's get some grass down, put in the main road and get some other little bits done like the platform sides, which we'll finish off another time and also get the crossing painted.
We also add some fabric to the folding area of the back of the layout to help prevent spiders and the like making home in the layout when it's folded, which is always a good thing to prevent!

James. Interesting project. I'm looking forward to seeing it develop. Pete.
Cheers very much Pete, hoping that you enjoy the next update!
Nice video James. I do really like the idea of a folding layout. It would also make it easy to transport as an exhibition layout if you have a small car like my car.
Cheers very much Nicholas, and that's somewhat the thought about it, though also helps make it smaller to fit in even smaller places to store it heh, but if I did go to exhibitions, would be small enough to take around!
Ran out of grass! Folding layout, wish you many happy days assembling this project. Looks like the size is about 3X5 feet dimensions? I could consider building one of these for my grand kids, though the locomotives would not last. 😂
I greatly overestimated how much was left in the bag heh, and it's smaller, 2x3ft
And could work well for children, though do recommend making it quite durable, same with the loco, get something on the more durable side heh
