I've gone through so many different videos for this and you by far are the most knowledgeable video producer. Thank you so much you got my mic and stream sounding so much better. Thank you now i have that crisp sound and my teammates notice a lot
I had this working just fine and suddenly it just doesn’t anymore. No idea what’s going on. Nothing changed. Maybe it’s my laptop trying to use the microphone and such instead of just powering it. Very frustrating. Edit: Windows had the microphone muted in the properties for the device. It’s a bit buried in there. But that fixed it 100%.
I know this question sounds stupid, but I saw other videos saying that the mic still works without the stereo adapter. Do you need the stereo adapter for the mic to work on Xbox? Like can you just plug the splitter into the controller without having to use the stereo adapter for the mic to work?
Some questions, I don’t have a capture card, I stream through lightstream. With that being said, Does this set up cause anyone noise or echo if I try to stream with it? Plugging the mic into the headphone does it allow talkback? Where you don’t feel stuffy when talking if you know what I mean. Thanks for answering!
What I think the issue is that when you plug in the mic you have to go to audio settings and select the mic and with streaming you have to click you audio source to but it’s just a guess

Series X, mic works on game chat & part chat… BUT….How can you get the incoming voice chat voices to TV speakers?! (Chat output set to speakers) I don’t want to use headset on the splitter, because I use headset connected to my stream PC… so the Xbox players hear me, but my stream audience & myself can’t hear them!
Sup fam! You have to set your xbox settings to enable tv speakers and headphone speakers as if you were projecting sound for everybody to hear. I'm not sure what it is called exactly on series x but it is a output feature.
@@Timstuh thx I figured it out… Xbox routes “in-game chat” differently than PS5, so in order to capture in-game chat to a USB capture card, you have to connect the controller to the capture card using 3.5mm cable & switch the cap card setting from Hdmi audio to Analog… honestly this is a Terrible method, hoping Xbox can change this on the next Xbox they release.
