I just want to ad that a bird that was born in a free flock and raise by their parent , is very , very different than a bird that was raised by hand and taken apart from his familly to be put alone in a cage . One can adapt under minutes to new environment, while the one raised in a cage alone take about a year to adapt and feel safe to try thing for himself , inside a new flock . I have 12 years with lovebird and more than 30 all free in my house , with 3 quaker and 3 senegal . I learned a lot and all you said in your video is true .They only use their cage to sleep in , so i use box instead .
I recommend the featherbrite UV bulbs personally! They definitely do need a bird UV bulb unless you can reliably get them in a carrier outdoors for around an hour every day for the entire year, otherwise a bulb is the way to go!

You always give great information. I wish I had heard this five years ago.
Love everything you teach us. I have a Parrotle I am not sure if they need a light, if they do, what would you recommend please?
