@@Soundmind00755 I say this with love....It's the same doctrine taught by the apostles plus the rest that is for our time. For example, Paul did not and could not preach against the acceptance of the mark of the beast because it wasn't for his time.
I studied religions as an Athiest. The only church that preaches the full doctrine of the Bible unmolested by Rome is the SDA church. The Catholic church has manufactured "ex Adventist" that are Catholics who "join" the SDA church then leave it and spread lies about the church, the founders, the teachings, and the history of it. They lie by mixing truth with error. The only way to figure out that they are lieing is to look it up from the actual source, and most people wont do that, so they just believe the lie. For a 2 second lie spoken it takes a couple hours if not a whole day of research just to find out that they lied. I studied the the false claims about the SDA church for 2 years. The SDA church is the only true Protestant church in the world, period, hands down.
She only had a third grade education but was such a prolific writer. Love that you are enjoying your journey of discovery.
Her relative Annie, was a composer/song writer. I think prolific writings runs in their DNA
An extensive amount of her 'work' was plagiarized (stolen) from other authors.. line by line, paragraph after chapter without any accreditation or footnotes.
@tickmann the TH-cam channel “Ellen White reconsidered” run by Kevin Morgan gives a deep dive on this and answers many accusations made by critics astutely and accurately. She was not what you say and maintained a good character beyond reproach.

Eve and Virgin Mary tops any other woman in the Bible. Anyone can claim God gave them prophecy but it doesn’t make it true, nor should anyone believe without having the Holy Spirit testify to it.
God warned us numerous times about being deceived, yet y’all don’t take heed. God never called any woman or man to start up a new church and give it the name SDA. Jesus already organized his church over 2,000 years ago with 12 men, Apostles he called and ordained. The Church of Jesus Christ is the only church Jesus recognize because he’s the head of it and he leads it and guides it with his living Apostles and Prophet today representing the entire world.

There is a difference between a grave image and a memorial but if people are not taught well, they can easily turn a memorial into a god for worship.

I think it's a fools errand to go back and forth about beauty tips like Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jasmine Crockett and Nancy Mace. They all enhance their beauty on a basic or more defined level and I think it's fine either way.

I think we need to understand why God gave that commandment. It’s about worship, making any of these as gods.. (Exo 20:3-6). I don’t think any adventists worship that artwork. To me it’s just a reminder of the struggle that the pioneers of the SDA movement went through in building Gods work. He knows the reason behind things we do. He’s our only judge ❤

context, context, context. that commandment was regarding worship. Else God himself broke that commandment when he had moses, solomon and many others create things such as the molten sea which had bulls or the massive statues of angels in the temple and much more. u have a surface level understanding of the bible similar to denominations (if they can be called that) such as jehovah's witness or mormons.

You do realize that statues and paintings are not graven images right? Do you realize that the place where the tablets rested that stated the text about graven images was under a lid that had 2 Golden Angels on it? Also the veil that separated the Holy from the Most Holy place had angels depicted on it? Its not a prohibition against images per say but images for the purpose of worship.
To anyone who truly wants to follow Jesus, i will say this. Do not follow Paul, do not follow Ellen. The only way to the Father is through Jesus. Think of it like this. If the Father is the destination, and you are a train, then Jesus is the tracks. If you jump off the tracks, then you're lost until you get back on track. There is no other way to the Father. John 10: 4-5 "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.". You can find Jesus in the Gospel of John. Not Matthew, not Mark, not Luke, neither in any of Paul's books. You can also find Jesus throughout the old testament, there are books that fortell his coming and his mission.
Disagree with finding Jesus in only the book of John. I think you misspoke but Jesus is in the whole Bible. He's the written Word. Revelation 19:10 KJV

The first three Gospels are known as Synoptic Gospels, John stands alone. As I said before, the old testament foretells Jesus's coming. For example, when Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness. There's is a lot that goes into this, but the way to the Father is simple. Follow Jesus or follow someone else.
