I know people found the acting bad here, but this scene literally made me HOWL with laughter first time I went through it. Maggie’s explanation of ‘she’s happy, it’ll wear off’ was such a mood with my own sister.
For those of you bashing the show, take a moment to actually analyze. She's a charmed witch making her WAY powerful than the average witch. So with her making her sister feel a specific emotion that will overtake her mood entirely it's going to be overbearing. So the acting isn't off at all. People respond differently when they feel a certain way. And Mel often hides her emotions so she's going to be over jittery when given the chance. The acting isn't bad, it's merely showing that Mel's body and mind respond differently to Maggie's powers. And since her powers make you feel that emotion and nothing else the character afflicted will obviously not have the thought in mind to not overdo their mood. It's just one emotion and nothing else so it's actually spot on.
Girl u gonna keep saying that till u blue in the face, they gonna be stuck on the old charmed 100 years later instead of moving on after its been 15 years already. But i love this charmed so no complaints from me.

I feel like such a hypocrite. After years of bashing tv shows for throwing together fake families that look nothing alike. These two actresses actually look TOO much alike for my taste. Every interaction my brain has to work to keep straight who's talking. I never had that problem with the original charmed. Same height, same hair, same oval shaped face, same body shape/weight.

@@drakorevel I got halfway through season 5 before i was just tired of the repetitiveness and predictability. its a comfort show. i get that there were other big things here and there, like with cole and the kids and stuff, but when you’re going episode by episode, especially early in the show, its really just demons over and over again. i like that the new show still incorporates demons but its not the central point of the show.
Is this like the episode in the original charmed with the seven deadly sins ? If so , this remake is kinda disappointing. The effects on the show are very poor they seem thrown together with little effort or work put into them.
I think the youngest sister has different magical abilities in the reboot. She can read minds and apparently can change people's feelings? Idk, I've never seen the reboot (except for s1 e1). It's very different from the original though.

I guess the writers wanted to make it "more" interesting by giving the youngest sister active abilities idk). I agree though. They should've named the show differently. Again, I only watched episode 1 and there the mom was still alive (and died). The oldest sister is a half-sister they hadn't known before so idk 😂 everything is a little weird. I would've definitely watched the show if they had named it differently. You haven't seen any of it right?
