  • In this first part of the series, Bipolar disorder and Intelligence, I wanted to cover a few basics and then talk about some stereotypes. This will have to be broken down into several episodes. Stay tuned for the next

I try to ride the waves of up and down like surfing. Get that good stuff done when high, but leave 'room' to slow down when low.

How do you manage that? Like how do you know to slow down? I’m balls to the wall until I crash

The up down is what bpd feels like but with delusional thinking and insane fear of abandonment. It's fucking hell on earth. I never understood why I didn't fully line up with other bi polars until they realized I needed an upgrade.

Intelligence has been broken down into many categories, including: body awareness, spacial relationships, even empathy ( i think) is a form of Intelligence.
Make friends with yourself. Then maybe fall in love with yourself, THEN, you can learn to love others. This usually happens at the same time, so its a process.
Good luck, have patience with yourself and others.
    Sincerely
