Since I've seen more than a few people suggesting it, I will let it be known that I have reacted to Telegraph Road from this concert and you can see it here: th-cam.com/video/ooGDTW0_Mlc/w-d-xo.html
Best concert video clip EVER What I love about this clip is how much fun they're having. Making a living like that wouldn't suck.🤑🤑🤑🤑 Shout out to the production crew. The filmography of this LIVE concert is incredible.🤩🤩🤩🤩 I believe the term you're looking for is, Synergy.
This concert (they played the venue for 2 nights) was at the end of a world tour and as you can see and hear they were as tight as a nut, right up there at the time along with Queen as one of the biggest bands in the world, the Rolling Stones mobile recording equipment was used to record this unbelievable performance that has never been beaten.
I was just 18 and I was at Hammersmith for this gig. Like you, we thought it might be a bit slow or boring, how wrong could we be? It was banging, we were on the balcony, we thought it was going to come down! They were the best of the best at the end of a tour and so tight! Mark Knopfler - guitar, vocals Alan Clark - keyboards John Illsley - bass guitar, backing vocals Hal Lindes - guitar, backing vocals Terry Williams - drums Tommy Mandel - Additional keyboards Apart from the obvious, Terry Williams was, for me the absolute star, amazing drummer. Everyone, including the band had the time of their lives, that was there more tan 30 years later when I first saw it on YT We're so lucky it was recorded so well. Your new favourite solo will be from Telegraph Road, from the same gig
@@richardhargrave6082 That’s so fantastic that you were there! It comes through how much fun they were having, their talent & chemistry together is off the charts!
Excellent reaction-review and you see it's not only the lead guitarist but the whole band as with the band Santana it wasn't just about Carlos for us Santana was the band all the musicians
Oh and check out You and Your Friend from the On the Night concert....the Mark and his guitar creating magic 🎸 and if you want to go down a Dire Straits rabbit hole....then Brothers in Arms at Nelson Mandela 75th Birthday performance at Wembley 1988 is a must hehe!
This concert was absolutely amazing and DS were always better live than in the studio. Terry on drums (for me the best drummer they had) was out of this world. But everyone was an absolute talent and they played perfectly together. be sure to check out “Telegraph Road”, an absolute masterpiece and Alan on piano will blow you away. Also definitely worth seeing “Tunnel of Love” Wembley 85, for me the best version with an absolutely great autro
I've actually reacted to both of those, and both were amazing! Tunnel of Love reaction is here, immediately followed in the playlist by Telegraph Road: th-cam.com/video/pUL3r5UPXy4/w-d-xo.html
While not the same concert, I did actually react to Private Investigations. It was from "On the Night," but I'll be sure to check it out from this concert.

It has been MY favorite guitar solo for the last forty years! The word you were looking for was -synergy.

I think the words you're looking for is jammin'. They be jammin".
Drummer Terry Wiliams was playing in frount of his dad for the first time and put on a special performance.
That had to be quite an experience for both of them!

Lol trying to determine if this is meant as an insult, compliment, or just some jovial ribbing, but thanks either way for the comment!
