I think back to 7 years ago when I first watched your videos. I had just made a big move in a big transition phase of my life. I think of all the TH-camrs and content creators I’ve invested in over the last 7 years. Some have come and gone, but few remain - and your constantly dollightful content brightens my day each and every time. I’m an artist and never considered retouching a doll, but I did customize a cat figurine from Daiso using your chalk pastel technique to make it look like one of my kitties! I LOVE designing spaces so here’s some tips if you wanna incorporate a more seamless space . If you can, try and buy baskets for the more miscellaneous/office items that you want out of site. It helps make it look like there’s less clutter ; that or build doors or curtains for the bottom half of your shelving units ( where the display dolls aren’t being shown ). For the pipes: faux ivy + string lights or more curtains (maybe sheer?) It’ll create a soft accent wall that could also hide the electrical box on that wall. Rugs can also divide the space up into sections ! Like one under the sofa area and/or one under your work station. It helps breaks up the visual monotony of the grey floors. Lamps: using different lights around the studio that ARENT the ceiling lights can also create a softer environment (mood wise) and you can REALLY jazz it up by putting in smart color bulbs !
It's wonderful to have a space for your creative process to be able breathe and flourish, and I can imagine compartmentalisation helps a lot with keeping your home a *home* and not an office extension; I'm so happy for you! 🤗

I love how despite having what has to be a very consuming personal life, you never let it change your personality! Even after having a baby you're still just as colorful and peppy and it's inspiring!
Growing up in America, I took over the basement. There was the main pipe (LARGE) that lead out to the sewer. My father was able to cover it up and I was able to make it into a shelf. Those are a bit high to the ceiling and not shelf worthy..BUT, it would make for a great accent piece and probably wouldn't cost a lot in material...then, you could paint them the color of the opposite wall...or galaxy them. Just something to think about. It's super awesome to see you come this far. And to see your family too! Absolute love :) Stay safe. Keep the dolls coming. love from the PNW!
For the pipes I would recommend fairy lights/lanterns for the ones near the ceiling and hanging either a tapestry or curtains over the middle one so you can’t see it but still have access to whatever power/utility box is there. It’s a lovely space!

As someone who makes cosplays and fursuits, I know the struggle of keeping things organized and never having enough space for fabrics and supplies that just pile up over years and years. I love the studio super comfy!!!!! Ideas for covering the unsightly pipes etc whilst still making sure they are accessible; cover with tapestry or mural, hide behind fake plants like climbing Ivy! Use to pin photos/ sketches, to memorialise all the amazing designs you have created over the years since they are all almost always stunning!!!
It's amazing! The colors and the lovely sunlight creeping in through the windows make the studio pop and bright! Great choices with the paint! Babylightful is such good little helper and is so cute! My poor heart from all the cuteness 🥺 For the pipes... I suggest wrapping some fairy lights and those fake vines. That way everything is still accessible but also cute! Maybe some suncatchers too on the windows!

I wanted to congratulate you for acquiring the creative space of your dreams! I also wanted to say that throughout the years you’ve always amazed me with your artistic abilities; because of you I have finally as a 20yo found a career I am passionate about. In my pursuit to find a career recently, I came across one of your videos, I admittedly hadn’t watch you in a while haha😅
I want to be a stop motion content creator, specifically the person that creates the characters(the creative process of ‘Coraline’ is a good example of this). You have helped me so much with your videos, I’ve managed to learn so many skills from them. As a sub of 3 years(I believe), it is a joy to finally see you in your new office space. I LOVE designing spaces so here’s some tips if you wanna incorporate a more seamless space . If you can, try and buy baskets for the more miscellaneous/office items that you want out of site. It helps make it look like there’s less clutter ; that or build doors or curtains for the bottom half of your shelving units ( where the display dolls aren’t being shown ).
For the pipes: faux ivy + string lights or more curtains (maybe sheer?) It’ll create a soft accent wall that could also hide the electrical box on that wall.
Rugs can also divide the space up into sections ! Like one under the sofa area and/or one under your work station. It helps breaks up the visual monotony of the grey floors.
Lamps: using different lights around the studio that ARENT the ceiling lights can also create a softer environment (mood wise) and you can REALLY jazz it up by putting in smart color bulbs !
It's wonderful to have a space for your creative process to be able breathe and flourish, and I can imagine compartmentalisation helps a lot with keeping your home a *home* and not an office extension; I'm so happy for you! 🤗
The separation really does help; I can fully concentrate on work at the office and being a mom at home. I am so glad we did this! Thank you.

I love how despite having what has to be a very consuming personal life, you never let it change your personality! Even after having a baby you're still just as colorful and peppy and it's inspiring!
Growing up in America, I took over the basement. There was the main pipe (LARGE) that lead out to the sewer. My father was able to cover it up and I was able to make it into a shelf. Those are a bit high to the ceiling and not shelf worthy..BUT, it would make for a great accent piece and probably wouldn't cost a lot in material...then, you could paint them the color of the opposite wall...or galaxy them. Just something to think about. It's super awesome to see you come this far. And to see your family too! Absolute love :)

For the pipes I would recommend fairy lights/lanterns for the ones near the ceiling and hanging either a tapestry or curtains over the middle one so you can’t see it but still have access to whatever power/utility box is there. It’s a lovely space!

I love the studio super comfy!!!!! Ideas for covering the unsightly pipes etc whilst still making sure they are accessible; cover with tapestry or mural, hide behind fake plants like climbing Ivy! Use to pin photos/ sketches, to memorialise all the amazing designs you have created over the years since they are all almost always stunning!!!
It's amazing! The colors and the lovely sunlight creeping in through the windows make the studio pop and bright! Great choices with the paint! Babylightful is such good little helper and is so cute! My poor heart from all the cuteness 🥺
For the pipes... I suggest wrapping some fairy lights and those fake vines. That way everything is still accessible but also cute! Maybe some suncatchers too on the windows!

I’m two months behind cause I said “I’ll watch this later” and then later turned into two months but it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come from the humble beginnings.
Both in how much you’ve improved in the medium, learning so many different skills and ways to make your work come to life, and how far your work place has come. You’re inspiring seeing the balance of work, a passionate hobby you’ve made into a promising career, and your family that always gives off such warm vibes. This was truly a fun treat to say the least.
Though I will say as a Dollightful rewatcher I was a little amused by the mention of the Jolteon doll gifted to you as she has been shown before in your doll tour video from a few years ago. She’s still incredibly stunning.

I dont often comment, but I've been watching Dollightful for years now, and seeing the progress shes made from moving homes, getting married, having a baby and finally her own actual studio is such an incredible thing to watch. I adore all of the dolls, though I didnt see Xerneas.. 🤔 Unless I just missed that one. Still, I'm so super duper proud and am excited for all the things in store for us!
