Cool that you were able to get all the movie LOTR covers across different sales. I read The Maze Runner books after watching the movie and found the 3rd book's ending really lacking- felt like the author had no plan on where to take the story. I never read the prequel cause it was so disappointing. I wonder if the library was having issues with stealing and that's why you had to pay first. Stinks because they're already so cheap, why would you steal them?
I know! I was pretty stoked about it. Yeah I'm not expecting huge things from The Maze Runner books just hoping they're at least somewhat enjoyable. That's a good point, maybe they were having an issue with that. But I agree why steal a $5 bag lol
I listened to The Road on audiobook. It's one I've wanted to read for a while but haven't had the time. It is NOT for kids! It's post apocalyptic survival with some pretty intense scenes. And speaking of Viggo, I believe he plays the father in the movie. Loving your videos bro, I might have to check out the Library of Dan soon!
Good to know! I'm terrible at reading the synopsis on books and just pick up many on memory or from an author's name. So if I had just read the back of the book I'd probably know who the target audience is lol. That's cool about Viggo, I didn't even know there was a movie. Thanks brother! You're welcome to see it anytime!
The Road is a real experience. Don't let the margins or the lack of punctuation fool you McCarthy books are definitely for an adult audience. Its a really good book though and Cormac McCarthy is one of a kind. I've read a couple of the runelords books, great concept and wild action, the first few books rule but it gets worse the further you go. Read Children of Amarid many years ago, I thought the author, David E. Coe, showed promise but that series lost me after the first book. He's second series beginning with Rules of Ascension was a step forward though I never see those books in the wild. Looks like you've got some interesting Historical fiction, I may have to check those out. Thanks for another great vid. Happy Reading!
Oh wow, it sounds like I'm in for a treat than with The Road. Okay good to know about the Runelords books. Yeah this is the first time I've even seen a Coe book myself. Thanks Aaron!
Heck yeah! Book Haul! I have been meaning to read Nightfall for ages, i actually just finished a Robert Silverberg fantasy book, Lord Valentines Castle I read and reviewed Prince of Thorns recently, I'm really excited to see what you think! I won't say any more (emoji) My wife and I enjoy JK Rowlings Cormoron Strike books, written under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. Love the cover of Myth-Taken Identity I have been meaning to read The Road for ages as well. I hadn't heard of Impulse either, the cover looks great though. I really want to read more Historical Fiction, I've been looking at picking more up, The Ten Thousand looks fantastic.
Always love a good book haul! I didn't even know Nightfall existed until I found it. I'm pretty excited to get to Prince of Thorns, than I can finally watch your review too! That's interesting, I didn't know she had written under a pseudonym. Good to know! Right? It is just so different it needed to be picked up. The Ten Thousand I think might be my next Historical Fiction read just so I can show it off more lol
Library book deals sound awesome!
They are the best! AND the money goes to help support the library so its a win-win
@@DiggerdanReads excellent

Just a girl and her wolf😊. Excellent haul review! I have Dark Satellite downloaded on my kindle - looking forward to reading it!
Thank you! Wow that's amazing! Hopefully you enjoy it
Karen Travis’ Republic Commando series is some of the best Star Wars novels (I’ve read all of the eu). Great stuff
That's great to know! That makes me even more eager to track down the rest of the series

Daniel, you’re going to need a bigger house soon for all your books!
I know! I'm going to have to slow down bringing in new book significantly haha

Right? It is just so different it needed to be picked up.
The Ten Thousand I think might be my next Historical Fiction read just so I can show it off more lol
You want a fantastic series, Ireland 1000 AD historical fantasy , The Gael Song by Shauna Lawless. King Brian is in it too.
Thanks Heidi, that is a great recommendation! Added it to my list!
Jk Rowling rocks, don't be afraid to get cancelled 😂
Haha okay I'm glad someone's got my back
