Saw Dev a week ago on the dream theater tour and damnit he still brings it. 3rd time I've had the luxury of seeing him perform. I recently lost my father due to Covid, in our last interaction before he was rushed to the Hospital i presented him to Devin's music, now theres this very clear emotional link with Devin's sound and this song resonates a lot with my battle to overcome and slowly accept life, yes of course good people are dying left and right but the sky is still bright and life is still beautiful. I just saw Devy in concert last night in Charlotte, and it was goddamn awesome! Discovering his stuff for the first time last month was like hearing music for the very first time. He's definitely one of the best artists alive today!

Whoever tuned, mic’d, mixed, and mastered the drums for this concert deserves a friggin Grammy. Yeah RVP killed it execution wise, but the mixing was just so massive yet tight and punchy. Easily my favorite sounding live recorded drum mix I’ve ever heard

Who ever was doing the lighting was insane and spot on. As soon as the music turned to the harsher parts, the lights turned red/yellow on beat. Once the music turned softer/more relaxed, the lighting turn blue on beat as well. Insane timing, the person doing the lighting knew the song decently well. 4:53 and 5:45 are great examples.
There's something hugely powerful, captivating and extremely moving about The Devin Townsend Project. They're amazing musicians and the journeys the songs take you on are mega... Very human... I love the soft delicate side that transforms into the heavier identity they have. So infectious...
