That defense gonna be 83 overall after fall practice
Okay 2 things 1. It’s only spring by fall their celling is rlly high upward of 85 overall and 2. If this was a 70 then a defense last year was a 60overall and there are complete improvements from this year to last year
The defense only played 2 coverages but there were some blatant missed assignments. Good thing is, they have 4 months to right the ship! Play your best players and put them in position to dominate. Shout out to PJ Woodland! Mississippi stand up 💪🏾
Safeties, Kaylin Jackson & true freshman Dashawn McBride made plays in the game. I’m not saying they’ll be starting, but they’ll get playing time.
The freshmen on defense showed some flashes. I’m excited to see them grow into the regular season

Our defensive backfield looked way more agressive, fighting for the ball,etc. We had some really good coverage when it wasn't a broken play
Ready for zy alexander to come back from injury and start at corner. Also one of the ohio state transfers at the other corner position. And then once we have some help come in at DT, this defense will change dramatically. The offense is already elite. Top ten offense and hopefully top 40-50defense.
If we had a top 100 defense last year minimum we win the natty point blank period..
