- Espn recently released its Tiers of College QB's and Nussmeier was in tier 9 but a few QB's who is clearly most talented then. In this video i tell you why i think Nussmeier will have a huge year and shut those doubting him down

Is Nuss being overlooked ?
Yeah. Everyone is high on Nico and Arnold and regard Nuss with a qualifier.
@@PHUnkel66 yeah I think so also
I don't know man... I've been thinking about Nuss as well and I think that if we are able to control games more with a great run game and a more solid defense, then the games will have more of a Les Miles feel and slow down, run the clock out the whole game. Lower scoring games. I do think that Nuss is capable of carrying this offense, but for most of the games this season, he will not need to, therefore he won't. The O-Line will probably carry this team to victories.
Looking back at last season, the offense was great because the defense was so bad.. the defense forced the offense to produce if they wanted to win any games. I do not think we will see anything like last season unless it is against a team like Ole Miss that forces our offense to produce that many points. Thoughts?
@@PureGeauxld I agree.. I can see that happening
nah, he just isn’t good, i’ve seen him play enough.
❤i think when we look back at Nuss 1st yr starts vs Burrows & JD5 s 1st yr we'll see he's far ahead of where they were. Keeping perspective is important.
Well said ! I am ready for the season
Well one thing he's going to majorly have over them, is a good OL. Both our lines were trash those years.
Nuss finna shock the country, seems like everyone forgets the offense he has around him. Top 3 receiver group in SEC. Best offensive line in the country, best Tightends in the SEC arguably, plethora of running backs in Josh Williams, Kaleb Jackson, Caden Durham, John Emory Jr, and possibly Tre Holly if he’s in the clear. The only thing I’m worried about is Joe Sloans scheme. Doesn’t seem as effective and explosive as Denbrocks.
What? Did you watch the bowl game? Sloan will never look back.
JD5 made Denbricks offense explosive more than Denbrocks offense being explosive
Nuss is the son of a coach and been around and training his entire life. I think he's gonna come right out the gates on fire. He's been waiting for this opportunity for ever.
definitely overlooked, easily top 3 qb in the SEC..
Facts !! They better recognize Nuss a Dog !!
@@Between_the_numbers In the bowl game against Wisconsin, was his first game as a starting QB. Never getting pulled out. The man passed for almost 400 yards with 3 TDS & 1 pick.
He’s only gonna get better as the season rolls along. Practice makes perfect.
Glad I found your channel, great content bud
Thanks for the support! Geaux Tigers !!
Nice show, will be watching.
All Nuss has ever done was put up points and stats. He now has a 4th quarter game winning drive to his name. Dude is a 1st rounder.
I think he will finish the season Top 10 in the country
too early for tat-first round pick
Good stuff. Preciate ya.
As a Badger fan, he absolutely cooked us. Want no part of seeing that dude again.
Aye y’all QB was cooking us too I was I was at that game and I was nervous the whole time. Best of luck to y’all this season.
@@Between_the_numbers 😆 true. LSU is good people. Kick butt this year.
You missed one thing if he has his confidence he will be great and I think he’s getting that
Not saying that he's either one of these guys, but where were Burrow and Daniels rated/tiered right before their Heisman seasons? I doubt either was considered much higher...
With players around him we saw what he was capable of in the SEC championship game. He blazed Ga while he was in! That first year JD held the ball too long and got sacked too often. When he flushed the pocket he committed to run where Burrow flushed the pocket but kept the play alive and that’s when his completion percentage actually went up when he flushed! The same will happen for Nuss if he extends plays after flushing the pocket he will also excel! Because his arms stronger than his legs. Burrow could run also but his arm was better!!!
Im all in dude.. 👍 we got weapons galore. Def😢
Yep! LSU about to put the league on notice
I have confidence in Nussmeier. His last 2 meaningful games, Georgia and Wisconsin, show his ability. Turnovers went down.
Yes I believe in him also.. being the number one guy and preparing and practicing like the number one guy will cut down on the T/O’s
I believe Nussmeier may be over looked beaucause of the success of Burrow and Daniels. Analysts can not believe LSU may have 3 top notch qb's in a row. Nussmeier is just waiting to burst on the scene to carry LSU until the defense gets up to speed.
From what I head each of the tiers was a different category. Not necessarily a tier ranking 1 to 10.
I'm a Gator fan. I'm telling you now this kid is Elite. What I've seen from him honestly worries me 😂 He got great accuracy, a cannon of an arm.. My personal opinion I think he could possibly even be in the top 3 best QB SEC..
Yes sir !! That’s awesome
Coming from a Gator fan !
Easily.
Nusss Busss 🚌
I’m thinking tier 3. I don’t feel like that’s an unrealistic tier ranking.
Nope not at all! But Tier 9 is crazy
@@Between_the_numbers Yes, VERY CRAZY!
Kiss&Tell he doesn't have to be Jayden Daniel, but he needs to not throw interceptions. No one expects him to be Daniel
But we don't want to see him turn the ball over. He has enough playmakers around him to when the Natty.
He just got to manage the game
You said your pretty sure he can make most of the passes. You said he has trouble with accuracy issues. You said that Brian Kelly liked the deep ball and dialed it up with Jayen Danials, so you are pretty sure he's going to do it with Garrett N. You said he may have a stronger arm than Jayden Danials. You said that you definitely think. You mentioned accuracy and turnovers 4 times and I am 4.47 into the video. Sooooooo, in your opinion he belongs in what tier. Nuss didn't say he belongs in tier 1. you did. A lot of talking heads...What is that? Aren't most of news analyst and youtubers all talking heads with opinions.
yep- it is what they do-job wise
Nuss is better than almost all QBs in their list.
Absolutely!! Year in and year out the media talking heads sleep on LSU
The best look on Nussmeier will be Sunday, everyone keeps talking last year's USC like goofy's but the reality is USC may have the best secondary in college this year...
You ask why, and that's because Lincoln keeps receivers and USC also has probably the top receivers as well, these two groups make each other better, and the fact nobody is even talking about it is comedy...
But the true test will be Sunday to truly gauge Nussmeier, if you beat anyone as a QB it's Lincoln Riley, can you outscore him? and BTW for the first time in his career he has a monster defense staff and the defense actually will be most improved this year hands down, so this will not be a walk in the park for LSU...
Stop that SEC BS People this is a new era, USC has already let go of the PAC, but these SEC teams tripping lol you got to walk the talk this year and LSU looking past USC is going to be embarrassing especially in Vegas which is basically USC home tuff... No bueno...
I'm a Trojan, but I respect all opponents, I don't have to disrespect anyone, USC been here before lol everyone forgets that, USC made Bryant's Alabama play black players and end segregation in the South, so USC made the SEC better... Lol let's keep it 💯 if we talking about legendary...
Should be a great game either way, game of the week I got butterflies and can't wait for first contact 😂 ✌🏼
Let’s Fking Geaux!!!! #LSUWins
What about Quinn Ewers?
I personally
Like Q.E, when they talk about the top QB’s returning they mention HIM and Carson Beck in the top 5.. so I don’t think he is being overlooked but I do think.. if he struggles out the gate and vs Michigan.. Archie will overtake him..
Respect I appreciate your take bro 👍
@@Doe-m5f I can only give my honest opinions haha I don’t get paid for this.. appreciate your support
The tier 1 QB were all know quantities. It is not disrespectful.
Yeah but tier 9 is .. Nuss deserves to be higher
@@Between_the_numbers I don't think a one game starter deserves it. Let him go out an prove himself. You and I know he has Heisman potential but can he keep it together game after game?
I think if they cut him loose he will average 350 yards a game but LSU is going to play a lot of bully ball.
They basically hyping miller moss after one game, USC’s bowl game
@@Between_the_numbers Nuss has only started for one game
@@PHUnkel66Nuss has also been on the team multiple years, knowing the coaching staff, the offensive system, & familiar with the players. These things do matter.
Nuss is just another Johnny manziel…watch carefully this year
How do you come to that conclusion? They’re two different players haha personality and skill sets
Nuss bus!
Anonymous SEC coach = Brian Kelly
Hahahahah that would be wild.. you’re not a BK fan ?
@@Between_the_numbers No. He isn't a top 10 coach. He hasn't been good since leaving Cincinnati and having to play real competition and real coaches
Bama will dominate him, he might dominate Tulane, Vandy or some division 2 school. When Bama hits hit like they did last years QB he will fold.
Jayden was destroying yall until Dallas committed a dirty hit
@@Between_the_numbers Dirty my ass he just knocked the piss put him it's called football Jayden could'nt handle it.

Rumor is.. Kelly went to Denbrock told him he would be split the title and responsibilities with Sloan.. the reason Kelly did that is because Sloan is too good to let walk so they had to give him a better title and role.. Denbrock didn’t like that so he left
Sloan and Nuss did something right in bowl game. Nuss's game would slide in at #3 in JD5s LSU career passing game stats.
