thank you this clears some stuff up. the one I am attempting to replace is for a vacuum. This would be my first vfd replacement ever. the VFD from the OEM already setup is $1500, but, I can get a new one not setup for 250. and there is an identical one next to the broken one and is working.

Many thanks for the video it helped enormously with my first foray into spindle motor and a VFD. After watching your presentation I realized how much could go wrong if there were improper settings.

It would have been a LOT more helpful if you had defined each registry you altered. You defined P005, but then changed P003 and P004 without explaining which functions were being changed. Since not all VFDs have the same numbering for registries, it is not possible to apply the settings appropriately by following the steps in your video. For example, your registry for max permissible frequency is P005...on the Fuji FRENIC-Mini, the registry for max freq is P003. Since you don't define most of the other registries you changed, how is one to know which function you are actually changing?

Hi. Great video and series. Really enjoying watching and can't wait till everything is up and running.
Not sure if I'm right however does the spindle spin the wrong direction. Opposite to the arrow indicating right rotation?

@@rogerwebb9600 hey i would like to know is that bad when it’s in the wrong direction? Or did you have a reason to do so.
I also have a not so constant freq that seems to be “jerky” what can i do to make that go away and have a constant rotation.
      Thanks foor the video 👍🏻

I will always thank you for your great content. It is really sad that you haven't upload the most important video in that case : the wiring and your solution to connect successfully this 12 volt vfm with the 10v red board.
(if you can, writea few words about how you managed to do it, Roger).

Hi Roger. I'm in Melbourne which is not as pretty as your neck of the woods. Thanks for your channel. Your videos are great.
I have a ProverXL 6050 plus which I purchased a couple of months ago. I noticed that the spindle is slightly bent so I'm thinking about upgrading to a water cooled 1.5kw VFD spindle. Genmitsu have a kit but don't ship to oz. I found the same kit on Amazon so I'm thinking hard about that one. I was wondering if you had any thoughts about using the VFD with the 6050 plus. My main reason for thinking of water cooled is to reduce the dust flying around and more importantly, less noise. Thanks, David

Grelt video mate. I have just Got my selv a 2.2kw spindel and a Vevor 3Kw vfd and your instruktions worked fine for me. But i do have a question, i did put a Hidance watt meter between my vfd and the wall outlet, and i Can se That tha max watt draw from the outlet is approx 300 watt Winther max rpm and no load om the spindel. Have you tryied to meassure the watt your spindel draw with no load ? Thanks Alain mate.

I have a question about Motor Function Parameter F144.
In my manual that came with my VFD (H100-2.2S2) it describes F144 as “rated rotating speed of motor”
Which I take as the maximum rated speed (in my case 24,000rpm)
Is this a difference between different models or is that the same as yours?
