- A lot happened in season 6, but to me the most important part is that Keith found his mother, learned the truth of his past and was able to bond with her and feel her love like he always wanted to.
Personally, I don't think there are many other songs as perfect as this one for the Keith and Krolia and the Koganes in general.

I wish they would’ve showed more of Keith and Krolia bonding during those two years. I really wanted to see her reaction to how her son turned into the man he was. What he went through on earth, and more of her reaction to learning that her husband(?) had died, leaving Keith alone at such a young age. Likewise, I wanted to see more of Keith’s reactions to learning his mom was a FRICKIN PURPLE ALIEN SPACE NINJA. They seriously just kinda brushed over their whole developmental process. Keith being the hot head he is, wouldn’t he kind of blame her for leaving him and his dad alone? Even though he knew she made the right call, wouldn’t there be at least SOME resentment towards her? Come on! They were sitting on a character development gold mine and it was just wasted! All that being said, Krolia is best mom and probably my one of my favorite characters in the show
Why does no one in the fandom talk about Krolia as a character? She left her infant son to go fight a war with no idea if he was safe or not only to find out years later that he's a paladin of voltron and a blade of Marmora. She gets stuck with him on the space whale and finds out about her loves death from a memory of a young keith. She now has time to bond with her son whose scared of bonding ("we had a bonding moment, I CRADLED YOU IN MY ARMS"). They likely share memories and I'm sure Krolia hates herself for leaving Keith and his dad for every physical and emotional scar that he has.
Sorry about the rant but this video hit me in the feels.
Because I think the fanbase worries more about shipping instead XD

So this is a show called voltron and one of the paladins of voltron is a guy named keith abd Keith grew up without a mom believing that she abandoned him but in reality she left him to protect him and this video is a tribute to their story
