- i made this as a part of my 6 months gift for my boyfriend and i thought this would be a cute video to make ☺️ i also sprayed my perfume on it so it smells nice, so in case your letter smells too much like coffee, i recommend doing that ☺️ he loved it ❤️

Instead of doing this and making it a bit less messy you could do the following step listed down below:
• first take some coffee powder in a plate.
• add a little bit of water to make it a little bit liquidy, be careful u don't pour much.
• take a paint brush and apply the coffee and water mix on the paper.
• dry it with a dryer
• write down whatever u want to.
• crumble it up.
(you can also crumble it up before painting the page with coffee and water mixture)
(additional):
• if u want u can burn the edges slightly
•you can add a perfume which u most oftenly wear.
• to close it you can make a envelope and seal it with stamp. if u don't have stamp u can melt candle and have the wax pour down and place a coin.

Yup that's it! I saw it on Instagram and I thought of giving a tip here. I'm writing it with pure love and no intention of hate, i absolutely love this process but i thought it's a bit more time taking! You can try either of the process it will result the same just a bit difference in the color of the page. Byee hope u like the idea!

you can also use a teabag by wetting it just a lil bit and
moving it across the paper
I like to do this as well! I've personally used just a big box with tea and carefully put them on top of eachother (which also didn't actually wrinkle the paper) but I've also heard of some methods that use coffee since the color turns out different. (You can look up tea staining tutorials for more methods to do this!)

Whenever I do this I use a bit of coffee, put a towel under it in case it spills over, and use a baking sheet. It's a much easier process, also if you have some ground coffee in with the mixture it helps with the aging effect.

i think it should be fine!! the one i made in the video was the first one i’ve made, and i did make extras and they’re still holding up good! i think they’ll be okay ☺️

thank you!! i suggest doing this first, then writing it otherwise it’ll wash out what you wrote. i did that, then wrote my letter, and sprayed perfume over it so it got a little perfume. you can do the same with cologne if you have it, but hopefully this helps! if you have any other questions let me know! if it helps, i used a papermate pen when writing the letter ☺️

to make it look more vintage or brown just don't make your coffee too liquidy or just use less water that might help
Use instant. Much easier. You can adjust darkness using more or less packets or spoonfuls.
i’ve realized how long i keep it in the coffee is for sure a factor too, i tried doing it again a few months back and the result came out different because of how long i kept it in the coffee 😅

I want to do this bit i already wrote everything whit a grafit pen, is it bad if i spill coffe on it now..
um i’m not entirely sure, i’ve never used a graphite pen but you can always just rewrite what you wrote and do this to a new paper and see which letter you like better!

Wine was accidentally poured on my notebook, after it dried I found this video and so I ripped it out and turned it into a simple letter, found out later on that I can still smell the wine on my paper. Thanks for the tip to not my waste paper.
You can also use tea and I recommend not lined paper and do it with a brush and rip up edges it’s so good

Is it ok to spray the letter with Japanese cherry blossom I sent a letter to my bf after doing this and sprayed it on it im just scared it will turn sour or fade away. Will it?
what i would do is spray it first, then write on it! i’ll be honest, i don’t think it was a strong smell from the perfume but it was really light. it might also depend on the scent, so you can always hold it out and give it a spray so it gets a little bit. but yeah, i would spray it first, then write on it so it doesn’t do anything to the writing on the letter ☺️
I would try using thicker unlined paper so the ink color doesn’t bleed out like that? Also instead of coffee you can use tea 🫖 and just dip the paper instead of soaking it or just brush a light wash of the tea/coffee over both side of the paper

I’ve found that using wet dirt also works very well.

You should try getting instant coffee from the dollar store and just ball up the paper and set it in a cup of the liquid of instant coffee overnight
First step: use thicker paper
Second step: use tea instead
Third step: paint it on our pour it on in small quantities instead of trying to smoosh it in
You could just crumble the paper to do that😂
it got crinkled after being dipped in coffee and blow dried so it worked the way i wanted it to 😂
That paper: *being dipped into coffee, having coffee poured and barely getting wet*
My paper: *touches a single waterdrop, BOOM. tears into pieces with a single touch*
