A way to make the painting process faster, pour the coffe and water mixture into a shallow tray and then submerge the paper briefly . Once you pull it out and lay it down somewhere you can go in with the brush to darken or a paper towel to lighten. You can also use a watercolor trick of sprinkling salt on areas of the sheet and once it’s dry you just brush off the salt and it’ll leave a cool pattern behind

i did this and it came out amazing! so let me add a little hack . if you dont want to wait for hours to dry your paper, you can put a paper on it and iron it for around 1 minute (move the iron constently over the paper) ..it gives a better result and saves a lot of time!

Ha, would have needed this years ago. My friend and I did this project for school, searched for videos or sites to find a quick way to do vintage paper but we didn‘t find the best advice. It endes up being not too bad but this looks so cool.

I tried them today while waiting for my class to start and tbh THEY RE AMAZINGGGGGGG I m so in love with them I m not even joking but the problem is that my handwriting is shitty so they ll stay like that until I learn how to write in a good way

At first i thought that my paper will get too soaked and would then crumble but I just took a tissue to wipe away any excess coffee and after about 5 minutes of waiting it turned out amazing! Thank you so much for this DIY❤

Yes you can!
To make it safe. Burn the paper once you soak with the wet coffee to prevent large burn. And you can also use tea bag but the colour will be lighter.

Try painting it brown but when you paint it mix it with water so its light and not so noticeable
