It's sort of an apples and oranges matchup, especially with how both stealth and missile gameplay need to be reworked, making the Shrike unable to functionally do its job as a stealth fighter/bomber while the Talon has most of the bells and whistles it was designed for. I often do VHRT Group bounties on my shrike, 3 targets, 8 missiles each.
@@Nephii the trick with a talon before they removed the difference in weapons, was to use lighting S4 cannon, overclock them and sneak into range with the talon’s insane stealth and 3 shots a warden. Missiles are for weaklings, 😜.
I don't know man... 24 S3 missiles is nothing to scoff at. With the right load out and disabling the S2 guns, the Shrike can sneak in, unload a hailstorm of missiles, and quickly get out before the bounty even knows what happened. It's almost like a mini Eclipse. The standard Talon is just one of several small, agile dogfighters with a couple big guns strapped on, but the Shrike is kinda unique in that aspect.
Honestly if missles worked like they do in real life and if flares didn't mean automatic miss, then the shrike would be badass, but unfortunately, it doesn't work like that, so the base wins😂

The Shrike is a one trick pony. It’s a stay away and throw missiles. The Talon has options.

For pve the shrike can do some work but for pvp the talon wins lol
Also if you like dog fighting in general the base talon is more fun for obvious reasons.

@@Nephii every now and again a missile will ignore the flair but it’s rare for me lol
Yeah me too, very rare, I'll be shooting at a HH and they'll pop one flare and the missle goes the other direction😂
