The Viper was(and still is) my favorite car in the original Gran Turismo on PS1. Tuned it to do 280mph. But, I need that Bronco to be apart of my 32 garage, $300+ million dollar CSR2 collection. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not gonna lie, that 400M build caught me off guard. It's an engine I love and is often over looked because the aftermarket wasn't kind to it. It's a tall deck Cleveland with larger crank journals! What's not to love?!

I mean mass production.. no doubt they were around before that for drag etc. They wanted to release the 911 with close to slicks , but the German government went mad, so they had to have a minimum amount of tread, which they did by measuring and just leaving a big gap
This was a tough call. I figured the viper would hook up better, but it's hard to overcome a 200hp deficit (as I've noticed) once traction kicks in. That being said...there's also the variable of him being able to find traction. I'd love to see the bronco with bigger wheels and sticky bois
Well that 400M block in the bronco isn't made to run high rpm. It's made to stay under 6k. It's a 4" stroke engine from the factory and it's a Cleveland. The fact it's a Cleveland is the only factor that helps because a Cleveland likes to breathe

M block fords were the tall deck Clevands on the day. pretty much a stroked 400M with twin turbos. am i correct @Hoonigan , ford performance is nothing to be afraid of. old pushrod v8s can still make crazy power.i bet the fiberglass cap helped hold some of the body in place due to flex off the line when that thing launched,. These are the real broncos.
yup! stroked 400m. Tim Meyer racing makes a 434 kit for it (434 with stock 4" bore). all forged, its a nice setup, can get pistons at any volume and compression height you like.
I haven't seen many stroker ford motors that weren't based on the 302 Windsors A+++for putting a ford motor in a ford not another duplicate LS setup I've seen a million times and don't really look twice at

This was an amazing race you can tell bronco guy can drive for him to not blow the tires off with what looked like very worn mud terrains and that much power bit to also keep getting faster every round that's a real driver right there dudes the epitome of it's not the car it's the driver
There will always be faster cars, but the viper will always be one of the best looking/sounding cars you can buy. Has always been a dream car of mine to own.
That's my thought when looking through used listings. Only 5k miles on a near 30 year old car? That right there was eye candy, fuckin good eye candy don't get me wrong, but it's a waste for one of the finest American sports cars (in my opinion but I'm not wrong lol). 80k-ish miles tells you this car actually gets used more than one a year.
Ok Hoonigan boys and lady, don't bet against the V10. It has drag coefficient for the 1k ft, it has a weight advantage for the 500 ft, and that mofo can shift. He is like me with my Mustangs, I hit first up to almost redline then slam second and the race is all mine. I am a Ford guy, but I do like me some Vipers.🙂

I had the EXACT softcore maroon interior in my '89 & '91 Broncos as well as my crew cab '94 F250.

It's only because the Cleveland had a short production run compared to the Windsor series of engines.
There is just something I really appreciate about a man that drag races with BFG mud terrains.
Ok a blue and white GTS is one of my all-time favorites, loving it!
Would be very funny if one of the LT tire makers made a tire with a mud-terrain sidewall but the tread and compound was a DOT slick. Ultimate sleeper.
