I tried to buy the Leatherman Juice but they won’t sell to me. I get an error message every time I try. So you are right they don’t like money.
Figures.
I had to buy the PST on BladeHQ. It just absolutely was not gonna let me buy it on Leatherman's site.
Plus they have many models which they refuse to ship to Europe.
They don't like money, they only somewhat like US money...
Wish I bought one when they brought them back for half price
I kept getting an error message when I bought my leatherman. Turns out the bank was flagging it when I logged into my app and just approved it..
Speaking of Leatherman... I wish they'd re-do the crunch... for the ultimate EDC..
I.e. Make it slightly bigger, change the "locking mechanism" between the jaws & handle, make it more robust.
Put a pick in the tool, so you can poke out splinters of metal or wood.
Make the tips of the jaws more accurate/fine.
Make a replaceable wire cutter like on other tools.
Just bought a signal on Wednesday because of your shorts. Got the teal and coral colorway. I had written off leathermans entirely since I’ve had a sidekick for ~5 years that hardly sees the light of day. I am happy to report that so far my experience with the signal has been much more positive! Such a well thought-out tool and the aftermarket support is wonderful! Thank you for all the showcases, you’re doing great work here. :)

Hearing "leatherman hates money" is hilarious
Yeah because the company tends to be greedy. But the thing is it's a bit the case because they are removing cool models ans make something like the leatherman arc for 300€ so the price makes a lot of people just avoid the brand because of the prohibitive price.
Dominic.... looks like you cornered the market on those " Surge file/saw set's", hahaha 😂. I mean just how many do you need?
Leatherman should really learn from Apple and Festool and start to develop an ecosystem. I mean Victorinox does the same. They sell 2 size multitools with 3-4 combination and have sheaths that fit the tools like a glove and accessories are all designed so that they would fit the appropriate case. On the other hand leatherman has one sheath that can carry the accessories. I carry the skeletool because I want to have lot of bit options, but cannot find a proper sheath for the bit+tool (oh wait, I could, the swisstool spirit large sheath). If the skeletool is a pocket tool then make a sheath for just the bit kits so that I can carry the tool in my pocket and bits in the sheath. There are sooo many third party options for leatherman that it pains me that the company itself is not taking advantage of all these things...

Make a friend in the US that can proxy for you..best option I can think of.

Leatherman hates even more money a ton of tools and knives this year alone. They are dropping the OTF multi tool. Get one while you can they are out of stock on color already.
i wanted to get a leatherman signal for the colors but it lacked only a few tools from the wave plus like the scissors AHHHHH
What's that bit holder on the far right, I have a case for my wave + that'll hold one of the bit cases and a flashlight.

Lol, just make sure to take your time and get one you know you will carry regularly.
I'm a big fan of the surge because of the non leatherman tools and the 3 party parts and the ability to have all kind of saws and the exchangeable cutting Jaws and the pure strength of the surge is amazing I've beaten the shit out of mine and had every blade and scissors changed because of abuse 😂 they snapped and leatherman fixed it no questions asked, I really like the surge and would choose it over the signal and mud every day
Cant lie Id also buy 10 sets of these files/saws lol. Even if ill probably only use 1 or 2 in my lifetime.
Most of these are not so useful. If you are into tools, there are always normal tools nearby. Mutitool is nice to have as a secondary or backup tool, but it’s not necessary to have all these bits and whistles. In most use cases multitool is self sufficient. I’d get simple screwdriver right in place rather than getting leatherman bits
@@wickeddubz True and I do the same, I have a ton of cheap snubb screwdrivers with internal standard bit sets laying around my wereabouts I dont mess with hex tools. I also do the same with folder knives and even pliers. I love multi tools for the package tho. Sometimes you just want to start a project but you're missing a little something like a file, saw or wire cutters. I LOVE the safety net of already knowing I can replace those if I abuse them too much on my cutie multi 😃 I also have 2 kids and my girls love to do hard work so I know eventually im going to split my gear 3 way lol. I think multi tools are like the army knives. Its great to learn and use in real life scenarios as a kid but then it also becomes something more with time.
